I was looking for some of those US happiness surveys and one of the first links I got was a reddit post in a subreddit called 'data is beautiful' titled 'childless people rated more happy.' There's a very fine line between acceptability and abuse, but it can be a very powerful psychological tool for parents who aren't pyschos.
