Lots of new information has been discovered about BAM.
So essentially BAM on top of taking Lost Relic's store in Florida, tried this stunt of taking over 2 stores in California.
That's 4 stores now BAM has been caught doing hostile Takeovers.
California (OF ALL PLACES) actually protected the company Brickventures in allowing them to get away from BAM even when they tried to sue. They were locking them out of POS system with a new one, BAM thought it was contractually illegal. They even tried to have clause that they couldn't sell LEGO in said contract for x amount years. Luckily for Brickventures, Cali law prevents all of this.
I've been seeing this come up a lot in their contract that franchisees if they leave can't sell LEGO. And I for one am very curious why LEGO itself has been quiet. When we found out last week from Ammon's own mouth in an interview they still currently have a distributor deal.

Right now the case is in State Court, in Utah. Which is retarded at this point. I do not know what the defense posture is right now, but if they have yet to file an Answer, they should demand immediate dismissal and transfer to federal court. And also to demand trial occur in the 9th circuit for the district of Oregon because at all times the issues at question occurred in the 9th circuit, in Oregon and there is diversity jurisdiction between all parties.
The Utah Courts will be hell bent on persevering their mandate. This case has to not only be removed from Utah, it needs to be removed from the 10th federal circuit entirely and put in the 9th.
For reasons known to all around here, I trust the 9th circuit more then the 10th. The 10th federal circuit is a clown show and I imagine its subordinate Utah state court is worse. There can be no justice from the Mormons or the Russian Jews . This case needs to be moved to Portland ASAP. The 9th circuit is at least ideologically fair rather then brain dead. They don't try and invent new law from the ether, despite claims to the contrary. Unlike the 10th circuit. Which was perfectly happy to invent the concept of time travel as a precedential ruling. Is time travel a real thing? Yes it is! In Utah! Which is why this case needs to be moved to Oregon immediately.
Tara Strong who does voices for Lego and Star Wars has called out BAM about the whole Lego situation and wants them to drop it. I saw it on Twitter a post by Dexterto. The story came out on Friday (June 19th). There were other videos and stuff happened since then, but the only video I could find this morning to post and tell you guys was one guy who was super fucking annoying and I've never seen a video by him before so he hasn't exactly been keeping up with it at least what was going on. You guys have all the news I have.
