Watched the video, the primary thing that irks the civil rights attorney is that the department spent 99.9% of training time on SWAT trainings and weapon usage like they are training to be some kind of SEAL SIX or another COD-meme worthy ultra-elite special unit, while they do not have any of Amendment or common-law knowledge. Only two of these mall ninjas have received 40h-long 'social & media training' that clearly was scheduled after the Ben incidents.
Also the fact that the AFPD youtube video with the chief doing more harm for themselves than good, and pointing out that there is a clear tort they can take that the police has history of blindly taking one side and assuming they're 100% right, as there was previously case (which probably was mentioned in this thread, but it is in the video too) that some schizo called cops on a family and used cops to harass them, and because she called cops first they assumed she's the victim and did not budge despite hearing the other side afterwards. Really similar to Ben's case - let's give the benefit of the doubt to the mountain jews not banding together beforehand - they're likely that they acted similarly to him because the bald fuck and CEO cried to them first about Ben and proceeded to ignore everything Ben said and shown, invalidating it because they see it as victim/oppressor dynamic, not that there is more nuance (like possibility of both sides being excessively retarded).

You can definitely look up the U-Haul reservation info yourself. The screenshots appear to be accurate, at least. Go to the U-Haul website, choose to look up Contract No. 15284899 (obtained from the Coffeezilla screenshots), enter last name "Best".
No, they're saying that the reservation confirms he drove about 160 miles and possibly spent more time with the truck than he had claimed (when talking to Coffeezilla). This is long enough to go pick up the legos from the Bricks and Minifigs store he took over, then drive them over to the Bricks and Minifigs in Eugene to drop them off for reselling.
This could corroborate the story the employee told Coffeezilla over the phone, possibly proving that Brandon Best did steal a bunch of legos (including the rare Star Wars ones) the same night of the hostile takeover of the Gorman's Bricks and Minifigs store, immediately dropping them off at the Eugene store that same night.
I'm just unsure of if that dropoff time is the ACTUAL time he left the U-Haul truck at one of their locations, or if he simply left a key somewhere and the dropoff time is just indicating when a U-Haul employee went to pick up the key/truck from a dropoff point.

Like the afroman case there's also a lot of damning evidence and footage, but yeah there being extra layers of dishonesty like you said makes it a bit more fucky in some sense. Like I said ALMOST like the afroman thing.

Being basically robbed out of at least sixty to hundred thousand dollars is worse. It can be said collecting Legos is a silly and childish thing to do but it's not like it's some grand ethically questionable social taboo that can be compared to owning a bunch of shrunken heads or books bound in human skin.
