What Razor forgets is that the VP isn't just saying shit for the sake of it. It's the VP's job to say the unpopular things that the President wants to say, but cannot say because it would make him look like an imbecile. Razor should know this; he once highlighted it in the past.
So while Trump says there's no surrender and there's no payment, JD Vance says there is, because there actually is. And instead of taking it from say, Elon Musk's pocket, they'll be taking it from us. The common American taxpayer will pay for Trump's Iranian blunder.
The big difference between Dubya and Trump is that the latter doesn't know how to wage a war; instead of going full Dubya and using a combined arms approach to liberate territory while trying to minimize civilian casualties, he bombs the shit out of targets without care towards damaging civilians, then he expects the enemy to capitulate. At least Dubya got the conquering part right; it was ruling post-Saddam Iraq that turned out to be a big problem for Dubya. Leave it to Trump to turn a just war that he could've easily won into a disaster where he's walking away with less than what he had before.
Trump's idea of waging war is the same way the mafia terrorized NYC and other cities; break shit, then threaten to break more shit if the uppity idiots don't back down. The problem? Iran is ruled by a religious caste who are ready and willing to die for their version of God, their faith, and their ideology. Kill the new supreme leader, and another religious whack-job will take his place. And them standing against Trump's continued attacks are a win-win; if Trump backs down, they look like heroes, if Trump doesn't, they'll meet their 72 virgins early.
To put it in simple gamer terms, Trump's way of attacking the enemy is something they're built up to be resistant to. It's like attacking a Fire Pokemon with fire attacks. It's not gonna work.

Didn't the Protestant Lutherans stifle Catholic Europe's fight against the Turks? The Catholic Holy Roman Emperor Charles V called for a united Europe to stand against the Turks, and aside from Catholic France, which betrayed the Church's trust by siding with the infidel, you also had the Lutherans who declared war on the Holy Roman Empire just as the Empire was fighting against the Turkish threat. It was also Luther's Catholic enemies who defeated the Turks; once in Lepanto in 1571, and again in Vienna in 1683. The Catholic Polish especially left a vivid impression upon the Turks after the latter battle, to the point where the Turks continued to honor the Polish as worthy adversaries even after Poland was swallowed by German and Russian forces.
So even when Razor tries to redirect Christendom's hatred towards the Turkish Moslem infidels, it turns out his new idol Martin Luther and the Lutherans were more of an asset to the Turks than a foe. The Lutherans helped stifle the Holy Roman Empire's attempts to stop the Turkish advance, and later, Prussian Germany's Second Reich under the Lutheran Kaiser Wilhelm II even broke bread with the Ottoman Turks and became their primary ally in WW1, uniting the two in a cause against the Orthodox Russians, the Catholic French, and the Anglican British.

Last I checked, anime/manga fans already make doujin fan-mangas of official manga and anime franchises. Some of which are very naughty and downright pornographic. Doujins have a reputation of being rather filthy-minded, because yes, the typical doujin author does favor making sexually-enticing art. But the tradition of fan manga creation is already here, to the point where there's a whole culture of it.
Razor is completely unaware of how weeb culture operates. The supposed "worst case scenario" he depicts of manga and anime fans creating their own twisted fantasy versions of official manga characters is already here, it's been here for decades even, and yet, it had zero negative effects on the anime/manga industry. The industry continued to march on, fan works or not.
Razor should take a good look at how AI-created Star Wars fanfilms are doing way better than say, the Mandalorian movie, or the Acolyte and Book of Boba Fett. We are nearing a point where Star Wars fans can make their own fanfilms, way better than what Disney makes, and putting Star Wars in Public Domain would only make it even better:
So no, Razor, Public Domain is the future, especially with AI being here to stay. And yes, people are already making fan works up the ass with AI, and it's the kind that people want more of.
If there's one good thing coming from the AI blitz, it's that Public Domain will come faster as corporations lose their monopoly on entertainment. Fans can now create what they want to make, and they know the franchises they love better than the corpos do, who only create content to make money.
