A lot of us were Razorfist watchers. Hell, in the early 2010s it was something I put on in the background whilst I gamed or did housework. It was only when I started paying attention to the guy that I came to see what he is. I don't think I am the only person in this thread that has had this experience.

I'm not so sure. Terran seems to be a loyal friend, but it is possible, since many of us here were once former Razor fans, including me. Dude has a track record of driving away former admirers, which includes more than a few of us here.

The main problem with Razorfist is that his bark is bigger than his bite. He claims to be objective, claims to have the answers, yet when pressed or questioned, he starts collapsing and starts blocking people, which makes him look like a pansy. He claims to be an educated political student, yet he's betrayed every political stance he once championed. He claims to be a Christian, yet he lacks actual religious education, much less insight into Christian history. He claims to be a gamer, yet has been caught playing like a noob in games that he's supposed to be good at. His DnD and Metalhead cred got blown to shit after he claimed the Satanic Panic was a psy-op.

Same here. I used to put his videos when I played videogames or walked in the park. I remember watching the entirety of his "Witcher Plagiarism" video while sitting in a park bench. But when I started looking closer at his claims, and started playing some of the games he despised, I began to question everything he said, especially when he gets basic facts wrong.

In the late 2010s-early 2020s, there was this strain of hyper-conservative thought in religious circles that really obsessed over pissing off the SJWs, but focused less on actually preaching the Gospel, religious orthodoxy, or helping the needy. You know, the shit that actual religious people are supposed to care about?
$5 says Razor turned super religious as of late because he got in bed with these grifters. Note how his religiosity has always been to paint Catholics and other religious foes of his in the same vein as SJWs and Communists, which shows that his faith is basically a battering ram against the woke, nothing more. Nothing about what Christ preaches, more about virtue signaling and anti-woke posting, which by this point, has gotten old.

I miss the old Razorfist who used to have principles. Back when he'd actually condemn something if it contradicted his personal beliefs. But part of me questions my memories of old Razorfist. Did he really condemn things like government over-reach because he had genuine beliefs against it? Or was it because his own side wasn't doing it?
Part of me thinks he's just suppressing his rage at the homos to please Trump's side. But another part of me thinks he just has no real convictions, he just goes along with whoever he sees is victorious.
Back when atheists and skeptics owned the internet discourse, he openly identified as a nonbeliever, especially when he mocked Neil DeGrasse Tyson. But now that religious people own the internet space, he's open about being religious. That just feels cowardly, in my opinion. I was a fan of his when he was new, and I had to endure him making jokes against religious people back then. For him to turn around and suddenly say he was religious all along is just so hypocritical.
The irony is, he once praised Trump for saying that war is bad and we shouldn't fight wars.
So he only hates pacifism if it goes against his side. When his man was preaching pacifism, he was all for it, even saying that we shouldn't get entangled in foreign wars.
He'll call peacemakers on the other side traitors, but the moment his own side starts preaching about peace, he goes the full "blessed are the peacemakers" route.
A good Christian doesn't boast about his good deeds. He just does them, and lets others judge him by his actions.

I wish Razorfist would stop fucking talking about politics and keep his sphere of influence on geek media. I genuinely thank him for introducing me to a lot of pulp hero icons like The Shadow or Doc Savage, but that's what he's best at, being a curator for people unfamiliar with decades removed heroes and explaining what makes them cool. His service to the Michael Jackson conversation is also a great one. Acting as a dicksucker for Trump makes me not like following him.
