I'll rank the food of the countries I have been to:
#1 South Korea
Maybe I'm biased because I live here but there is just something about classic Korean food that is amazing. I like pa kimchi, seolleongtang , stinky bean soup, and so much more. I have stomach issues so it is easier on my body. Sometimes I will get hotteok and it heals my soul.
#2 Mainland China
Surprisingly they don't eat gutter oil. I was in Jilin, and it was so incredibly flavorful. I loved the lamb skewers, hot pot, crawfish, and beef noodle soup. I also ate some grilled beef prostate that was amazing. However I will say I had some of the worst diarrhea of my life after eating some of the street food. My husband and his family were alright so I think it's skill issue on my end.
#3 Japan
I was in Osaka which is supposed to be the food capital of Japan. I don't know if it was because I ate at the wrong places or what, but I didn't enjoy it as much as I expected. It was still good, don't get me wrong, but just not as good as I expected. The ramen was great though.
#4 United States
Food is okay sometimes. Tastes like chemicals and hurts my stomach. They have a lot of gems but I guess it's not my thing. A lot of food was too greasy or chemically. I like catfish, crawfish, gumbo, and cheeseburger. I also liked poboys, boudin, and frito pie. I really liked Dr. Pepper, one of the best drinks in the world. American junk food is ok sometimes.
#5 Canada
I hate Canadian food. Food was expensive and I thought it was a prank with how bad it tasted. I paid too much money for gross food that hurt my stomach almost as bad as American food. I hate Canada in general, but the food was disgusting. There is nothing I liked except the food I made in my own home.
