I was thinking a kind of upward curve where you start with the extremely mild ones and allow them to form the "this isnt so bad" mindset only for thier mind to completely shut closed when we bring out the horror cows. Some very limited leeway should be given. Stripped of ideology, bona fide transsexualism has a basis in genetics/biology. This isn't new knowledge, and discounting it would be dishonest. A line should be drawn; where exactly is up for debate. You have your work cut out for you. To be successful on twitter you have to post a LOT. So you'll need the mild cases and the horror cows. Framing matters too. Libsoftiktok is popular because a lot of posts highlight the duplicity of liberals: It's not happening oh it is but it's a good thing. And this is stuff that people can relate too because they see it constantly. I honestly don't see any tranny bullshit unless I'm delving into turbo nerd territory so I don't think the content is going to be relatable to most people.

I understand this sentiment, believe me I do. But denying a pathological reality for no defensible reason would mean we're just substituting one ideology for another. I think we agree that we're after the objective truth.

That said, I would hypothesize that treating "gender dysphoria" as you would any other medical or mental health condition (ie, actual differential diagnosis and appropriate treatment options for the root cause besides 'just transition bro') would eliminate AGPs and perverts in public. Ideally, we'd be left with two categories of diagnosed transsexuals who've only transitioned after all other options were exhausted and fully informed consent was given:

1) those who pass either due to an extremely rare phenotype or hormonal/gonadal defects or intersex conditions. These would simply blend in and wouldn't present many issues.

2) those who do not pass. If all available therapies failed and this is how they must live their lives, I'd pity them before I'd hate them.

Of course this is all hypothetical, but it's a framework for where my head's at. Happy to discuss

This is a reasonable stance. It's basically what was happening before the troonsplosion: with no organic machine backing them, and the sense to keep a low-profile and cooperate with society instead of making demands, transition was rare and done by the very troubled/very motivated.

The problem is getting the genie back in the bottle. Those AGPs and public perverts have tasted social-governmental power, and the handful of what might be called (for speed's sake) "true trans" people don't have the numbers or the perverts' motivation to fight.

In order to get back to 1990s-level trans, higher than 1990s-level gatekeeping would have to be applied. There are a lot of entitled assholes to screech about it, social media to do it on, and the current US administration is as anti-nuance as it is anti-troon.

When I was a child and teenager I was quite GNC and disliked a lot of the things girls where supposed to like. Unfortunately I also had a mother that desperately wanted me to conform, so I learned to associate womanhood with being weak, boring and uncool. I despised being pointed out as female, felt like a flaw.
Needless to say I got deep into yaoi as a teenager, because every female reminded me of how boring and weak I was. (And Japanese media is so sexist overall it's difficult finding any badass females in general) Yaoi helped me imagine myself as someone "strong", like a guy.
It took me until my first relationship with someone that was also kind of GNC to realize that I am valid and okay in whatever body I have. Being born a woman doesn't mean I am weak, it just means I've been looking for my strengths in the wrong places - and some guys actually enjoy being the follower instead of the leader. I've gradually dismantled my womanhate since I then.

I can't imagine what would've become of me if I'd have been a teenager now... I would've been a prime pooner target.
