Do you ever wonder what's going to happen to the doctors, therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, and endocrinologists when this shit really hits the fan? I know activist types might DFE and pretend they never supported it, but the doctors have their names on the referrals and various other paperwork. Which makes you wonder if we are in for a mass license revocation in the future, or maybe they'd be barred from practicing ever again.

I'm speaking from a strictly USian perspective here. Admittedly I'm not a lawfag but wouldn't it be hard to go after them when troons made it so that "conversion therapy" (meaning, telling an autistic teen girl she isn't a man) is illegal? That's tricky.

Unfortunately I think many providers will get away scot-free with the "we were just doing what we were told was the right thing at the time" defense. WPATH ghouls who wrote the playbook might see some consequences.

I wouldn't be surprised if some big names go down, like Dr. Teet Yeet (who btw doesn't carry malpractice insurance). Like opioid pill mills, there are some pretty clear cut cases of surgery letters being rubber-stamped and handed out like candy. Some of those people might get rekt to make an example of them.

A lot of it depends on the victims and how willing they are to speak out. I think I've posted this Helen Joyce clip in this thread before but what she describes will have a tremendous impact on what happens from here. How many handmaid moms who transed their sons will have the soul to stand up and say I made a mistake? If they had a soul they wouldn't have done that to their children in the first place.

Most of the crazy parents who did this to their kids are not victims, they are perpetrators. The reckoning would look very different if the post-trans movement consisted of parents whose children were harmed by this, but so many of them were the ones who did the harming. Demanding justice for their sterilized and mutilated children would require a level of honesty and contrition I doubt they're capable of.

As much as I'd love to see the top levels of the trans cartel see justice I doubt it will ever happen. The true leaders of the movement who pumped insane amounts of money into this will definitely never get a lick of justice.

I only say "third gender" for lack of a better term and also because they weren't treated as interchangeable with women the way modern trannies try to. I don't think that's the case for most trannies. They never sit with themselves, that's the problem. I think the most we can realistically hope for, with successful "you transed me" lawsuits, is that it has a chilling effect on future surgeries and the kind of people who rubber stamp psych letters.

In the US, if insurance companies started demanding proof of efficacy, or objective diagnosis criteria, that would slow down the trans pipeline as the money dried up. At least from the surgical side.

No, I grew up in the before times and there were very very few trannies

I remember the XXX theaters advertising their SHE MALE EXPERIENCE (yes, always all caps) porno films in the back pages of the local city newspaper in the 1970s. The intro of buying and renting VHS videotapes killed most of those theaters off. After college (1980s) I lived in a good sized city near its gay bar zone and seeing small groups of drunk trannys (or maybe just drag queens?) stumbling home from the nightclubs was not uncommon.
