Bitcoin is for libertarian dudebros looking to shrink government by depriving it of tax revenue. ADF wants a government that provides for his every need and want.

I do like the idea that he'd start his own micro nation in the Oregon woods.

Bitcoin is for people with way too much money to put into hardware. It's a haven for the sort of dude with a basement so full of Bitcoin mining equipment that he doesn't need anything else to heat his house for the winter.

Also, the smarter Bitcoiners managed to become quite wealthy doing things related to it and are often professionals in related fields.

Anyone who actually contributed to the infrastructure in any substantial way usually has an academic background in the hard sciences or math.

Bitcoin tends far more to the right wing libertarian mindset than anything, with a far stronger connection to the libertarian than to the right wing part.

Phil is too dumb to understand the idea much less actually apply it. You can't mine Bitcoin on a shitty smart phone under a bridge.

Yes he has at some point, on one of his older DA accounts there was pictures from two visits to transport museums and at least a dosen road signs relating to level crossings alone.
