It's clear that they added the pod-racer mode at the last minute to trick people into buying a Star Wars game set in the Disney Trilogy era.

KT Racing posted their Solar Crown Letter for June, and it's even more fails that usually don't happen in racing games:

• Season 7's release is sometime in late August/early September, with still no hard date yet.
• They're raising the cost of the Battle Pass from 600 Diamonds to 1000 Diamonds.
• Season 7's vehicles will focus on JDM, with an R34 GT-R, and some unnamed JDM cars.
• The ORC (Official Racing Center) will be delayed to after Season 8. (if that happens, of course)
• They continue to be dodgy about if an Offline mode will be added.
