You set up “Purification zones” all over Asia. And bascially do Chinese Generalplan Ost. Still baffles me how TFR got away with it.
If the Chinese could get away with that in TFR than they'd probably could get away with it in real life too. Which is a good reason why they should do that in india for real.I imagine TFR is getting away with it because:
1. It’s for a Chinese path. When jannies are looking out for genocide mods, they’re hyperfocusing on Europe and Nazi Germany specifically, allowing TFR to go under the radar as the Chinese fascist path is barely advertised as far as I know.
2. The genocide isn’t made into a mechanic. I haven’t played fascist China yet so I might be wrong on this, but the only things telling you that China is genociding is stuff you can infer from the focus tree, and cosmetic tags. The genocide isn’t attached to a decision tab or GUI minigame.
Hasn't China and India been in a perpetual border skirmish around Kashmir for decades? The one where they agreed not to use actual weapons so they just relentlessly beat each other with sticks like a bunch of cavemen. I doubt anyone would care to much if China decided to change the rules of that engagement suddenly...If the Chinese could get away with that in TFR than they'd probably could get away with it in real life too. Which is a good reason why they should do that in india for real.
The Chinese use electro magnetic weapons to melt Indian soldiers sir, don't disrespect them again. The one where they agreed not to use actual weapons so they just relentlessly beat each other with sticks like a bunch of cavemen.
Who do we think it is? TFR's Russia has so many bloody leaders that can take power.[...] "and a russian politician" [...]
Dugin maybe, the other one is a toss up, either Yuneman or Zhmil, both know about TFR but the latter is only the leader of a partisan group in Karelia, not all of Russia. All others don't play HOI or are too old, like Nadezhdin. So we have had Gunther playing TFR, but if what Grisha is alluding to here is not a lie, we might have Dugin playing TFR...

Personally, I was hoping for Medvedev, but I think he maaay be a little too busy to partake in an autistic map painting game.Who do we think it is? TFR's Russia has so many bloody leaders that can take power.
I think that's a pretty good guess. Pretty certain you're going to be right.Maybe Vlasov? I think he and Grisha know each other.
French people still largely existed in Burgundy though and the camps popping up happened before the mod starts. Africa Addio, on the other hand gave you decisions to directly change the culture of Subsaharan Africa to be German.TNO got away with Burgundy being a giant concentration camp.
DLC mechanics are so awful that not even modders can fix them.More leaked TFR focus trees

I firmly believe Panzer overstated his influence over PDX but the alternative is admitably funny.Panzer had people at PDX, if his claims that he had to get them to raise the limit on the amount of GFX for TNO is true.
Medvedev has all the time in the world. He's kept in the kremlin play pen with a phone and lots of Smirnoff. He is not allowed to do anything important. The last time that happened, Libya died and the Mediterranean slave trade was resurrected.Personally, I was hoping for Medvedev, but I think he maaay be a little too busy to partake in an autistic map painting game.
You mean special projects? What's wrong with them as a mechanic, I thought it was one of the best additions Paradox made in recent years.DLC mechanics are so awful that not even modders can fix them.
Everything cool/worth using takes too damn long to research (Military Engineering Vehicles and RADAR being the only exceptions). Building a research facility takes 200ish days, and that’s with a full line of civs working on it. Getting the necessary breakthrough progress takes 200-300 more days, actually researching the project is another 300 days, and building up a sizeable stockpile eats up another 200 days. You mean special projects? It is apparently really hard to come up with the idea of taking a cargo ship, hollowing it out, and making it into an aircraft carrier. (even though the prerequisite is knowing how to build aircraft carriers lmao)Everything cool/worth using takes too damn long to research (Military Engineering Vehicles and RADAR being the only exceptions). It’s even worse for nuclear techs, since breakthroughs are gained way slower, and Atomic Studies effectively locked until 1940/41, which takes over a year to research. The nuclear reactor and fission bomb projects also have year-long research times. In total, you usually have to wait until late 1945/1946 to get your first nuke, and by that time, 99% of all runs are basically over.
Mods are one thing but Paradox seemingly likes to introduce bloat for the sake of bloat so that more DLC for HOI4 can be justified. They've also gotten to the point where they are making new focus tree DLC for countries that got focus tree DLC in the past so there is that to keep in mind as well. Anything to keep their most successful cash-cow going for the time being I guess.Everything cool/worth using takes too damn long to research (Military Engineering Vehicles and RADAR being the only exceptions). Well Medvedev has enough time to shitpost on Twitter and Telegram.Nah, Medvedev needs to play with Sanchouswith both getting progressively more drunk
My guess is it's a result of syncretism between Catholicism and a pre-hispanic veneration of death. The reason the Aztecs were particularly violent was because of competitiveness of resources, so they needed to sanctify death in order to keep numbers from skyrocketing. The history of Mexico is particularly violent, which influences culture and art.Has anyone ever made any connections between the brutality of Cartels and the (genetic) legacy of the Aztecs, Mayans and other native Amerindians having a culture of human sacrifices and general savagery?

It would not be first time Christianity reinterpreted pagan traditions. But I am not sure if in this case it was officially sanctioned by The Catholic Church. Or just folk tradition. My guess is it's a result of syncretism between Catholicism and a pre-hispanic veneration of death. I am sure Catholics would blame it on the Jesuits or something, as is their wont whenever they discover some fucked up tradition that neither Catholics nor polytheists approve of or want to exist. But I am not sure if in this case it was officially sanctioned by The Catholic Church.
Folk saints such Santa Muerte are rejected by the Catholic church, but it doesn't stop self-identifying Catholic Hispanics and criminals from revering Narco-saints. Folk Catholicism falls under an interesting umbrella of Christianity and folk beliefs, like Santeria or Haitian/Louisiana Vodou. It would not be first time Christianity reinterpreted pagan traditions.
