Project Veritas Issues Statement Amid Reports of James O'Keefe Being Ousted

Project Veritas released a statement on Wednesday after it was reported founder and face of the undercover outlet James O'Keefe was put on paid leave while the board of directors are deciding whether to remove him from his position.

The upcoming decision stems from anonymous allegations about O'Keefe's management style, which include berating employees and eating a sandwich that belonged to a pregnant woman.

The company's statement did not mention O'Keefe specifically but said "the board of directors and management are constantly evaluating what the best path forward is for the organization. The board and management are continuing this internal evaluation to ensure our long term success. Project Veritas will never stop and we will never let our our supporters down."

Many of the comments on Project Veritas' statement voiced their opposition to having O'Keefe be removed from the company.

A thread from the founder of Old Row claimed, citing a source within the outlet, that what is happening to O'Keefe is nothing short of a hostile takeover attempt from two members of the board over weak allegations of misconduct.

"According to my source, this situation has allowed to 2 alleged ringleaders of this attempt to push James out to have significant sway over the others despite their reasons to be essentially meritless," Swig tweeted. "Board members and C Suite officers involved in this according to my source are as follows: Board members: Matt Tyrmand - (Ringleader) John Garvey, George Skakel, Joseph Barton (not the congressman), Steve Alembik CFO: Tom O’Hara COO: Barry Hinckley (Ringleader pronouns in bio)."

Hinckley like the attempted assassin of Reagan and who's father was buddies with Bush 1?

Did some research on both, couldn't find any relationship between those Hinckley's and Barry Hinckley though they could be distant relatives. Barry seems to be more known for this ad from his failed 2012 senate campaign featuring his then 5 year-old son.

>Kicks James out of PV
>We won
>He starts PV2: The Truthening
>He starts PV2: The Truthening?? (surprised gru.png
)

They're going to martyr James by giving him the ultimate journo award one day. These fuckers always escalate when their plans don't go their way.

You know, this being Project Veritas and all, wouldn't they be able to show us O'Keefe going on his hangry, pregnant lady sandwich-eating rampage on a hidden camera video?

'course not. Guessing this is now Project Manhattan. db7.jpg

Sorry you had to learn this lesson the hard way man but maybe keep your next project private instead of grabbing that money.

I like how everybody ignores PV losing at least its 2nd libel case and that this might've set the financial backers against O'Keeeefe. Seems like the petty shit is just an excuse to eject him.

What we really need is for somebody dressed as a pimp to talk their way into the PV office so we can get the edited highlights of what's going on.

Oh look, lefties infiltrated PV, and they are being allowed to run roughshod.

At least we have their names.
Matt Tyrmand appears to be a Steve Bannon toadie.

Bannon went to prison for J6. Maybe he cut a deal with the Feds to have Tyrmand oust O'Keefe, in exchange for a lighter sentence?

I have no proof of this, just schizo speculating. Maybe Bannon's not even involved, and they're just dethroning O'Keefe because they're ambitious little parasites. It'd be just like Professional Conservatives to fuck over of the Right's most effective operatives for thirty pieces of silver.

Did you even read the article?
The conservative group was found to have violated wiretapping laws and fraudulently misrepresented itself to a Democratic consulting firm, to which it was ordered to pay $120,000.
That is not libel.

The jury did not find that PV committed libel it found that they violated wiretapping laws and misrepresented themselves.

Creamer claims the videos were edited deceptively but that was not part of the ruling.

Also the NYT is currently being sued by PV(and it is not going well for NYT though without O'Keefe I would not be shocked to see the suit dropped) which probably explains why they did things like write fraudulently misrepresented as though you could legitimately misrepresent yourself.

Edit: Just as a note I would love to see the unedited video as it would clearly exonerate the targets of the sting. I wonder why they did not fight to have it released. Hmm...
