I wasn't really a fan when I was younger, but I kinda had a feeling this was directed at the nostalgia-tards anyway. Besides, reboots and remakes are rarely successful as far as I've seen.

If you really miss MMPR just re-watch the TV series or the VHS from 1995. Or better yet, look for Super Sentai.

Honestly, the best part was watching guys in rubber suits fight over a model city, like in the old Godzilla films.

What the fuck was up with Kimberly's weird three strap top? Isn't that gonna dig into your cleavage?

I haven't seen it, but its pretty bullshit that the big end piece has them fighting a big generic gold monster, as opposed to any of the cool kaiju monsters they had in the shows.

About two months ago, my campus held a screening of the movie on our lawn. It was around 60 degrees and right before finals. Only around 10 people showed up. When I was grabbing dinner, I heard someone yell: "Fuck you Power Rangers!" I still haven't seen the movie, nor do I really plan to.

Big generic gold monster was supposed to be Goldar.

Odd fact about Trini the Yellow Ranger. If you've ever watched the show Push Girls about women in wheelchairs, the Asian quadriplegic with the husband who was famous overseas, became a quad in a car accident just before her wedding, for which Trini was supposed to be a bridesmaid. Trini died in the accident. That actor guy went on to marry his fiance after she became a quad but they later divorced.
