Pippa has in the past said that the reason she doesn't live alone is because of her pets, and her parent's tendancy to neglect them. Little sad to see that she wasn't lying about it.

There is no way she left a living creature she cares abut with either of them. "Breederkin" apparently reused mouthwash by spitting it back in to the bottle. She also made her children do the same according to Pippa. The other one she named "Schizokin" which speaks for itself. As I am writing this I am reminded of Pippas cognitive abilities, so her having left the rabbit with on of them isn't entirely out of the question.

It's possible that the bunny had GI stasis. Its the kind of thing you only notice if you're familiar with them. A lay person might just think they're being lazy or something.

That's my guess.
I saw someone on twitter discussing how they gave Mamakin and Papakin a tour around Japan while Pippa was at work. I can't find the tweet but they were definitely there at least for a decent period of time. E: NM Someone already posted it.

The reason the rabbit fell ill was likely because his owner was away for an extended period of time and the rabbit did not have another rabbit to bond with. Rabbits can become extremely distraught if their owner leaves and they don't have another rabbit to bond with. It can indeed kill them.
