I think the money raised by the fans were from a couple whales who paid to be in it. I believe the movie cost a LOT more than $3k to make and was funded by PCL cash. Which in a way is funded by the fans, but realistically it's supposed to be Perry's money. Instead it goes to Teslas, tiki bars, rent for a used clothes and other garbage shop, and now hiring someone to remove bricks from his doorway. Meanwhile Perry is still in squalor with the looming threat of it being taken away on a daily basis.

He has to know that people are waiting for one slip-up to kill his golden goose. The show has gotten even less entertaining and a lot of the "tip comments" are clearly sent by the PCL crew itself. It's now mostly just weekly struggle sessions about one or another of Perry's many faults with Perry's replies being one of the 5 hardcoded thoughts that remain in his smooth brain, ad nauseum, for 5 or 6 hours.
