The production on this is absolutely stellar. Daniel Lanois is an insane producer.

Ice Cube's Death Certificate (1991). His prior album, Amerikkka's Most Wanted, proved that he could rival NWA on his own as a solo artist complete with raw lyricism supplemented with 70s-80s sampling.

Death Certificate validated Ice Cube as a political rapper on the then-current state of gangland hood life and African Americans in the 90s. Every sample work blends together with its intense lyrics unlike Amerikka's Most Wanted inconsistent beats.

Don't give me started on its storytelling. There's an A side and a B side, or as Ice Cube put it: "The Death Side: a mirror image of where we are today; The Life Side: a vision of where we need to go." Death side is your typical gangsta rap lifestyle, which Cube warns that it would lead to the destruction of the African American. Then, it transitions to the Life side, where Cube unleashes his political commentary chops without sacrificing his unapologetic intensity or talent to grandstand.

I was trying to think of Albums most may not have heard of, but were still banger AL. Most people have heard of Sargent peppers, the wall, or born in the usa.

Sweep the Leg Johnny. Sto Cazzo. Tomorrow We Will Run Faster.
They're perfect because no one's ever heard of them.

I'm sorry, but how has no one mentioned Pink Floyd yet?

Shine on your Crazy Diamond is fucking perfect. So is Dark Side of the Moon and The Wall.

YEP.

Perfect, perfect enough, all three.

Three perfect albums in a row.

Few others have that.

Hendrix, Stevie, Zeppelin, Beatles, maybe Michael...ummmm...oh right, P-Funk...Stereolab, if you understand how awesome they were from 1994-2003...

NOT Radiohead, tho.
Kid A is a disasterpiece, not a masterpiece.

But yeah, very rare.

FOUR in a row, imho.
Meddle is also perfect enough.

Oh wait, THAT is the consecutive three.

I forgot Animals.
Which is NOT a perfect album.

Here's a bootleg Shine video I threw together MERELY by combining all Shine's parts, snipping the extraneous intro and outro of Arsov's Kingdom video, and slowing the remaining video down to match the length of the audio. The syncs you see here, were ALL serendipitous...or somehow divinely arranged, with me just being an oblivious amanuensis.

Shine On (all parts)

Some other Floyd bootleg videos I made:

San Tropez

Fearless

Brain Damage + Eclipse (8bit version)

Same thing w/ syncs for 2 of the other 3, too:
UNINTENDED...unintended by me, anyway.
Only one I manipulated a little is the 8bit one.
