They finally opened up Supertip so you don’t need an invite code to use it. Melton made a big deal about giving a walkthrough on YouTube but then privated the video. The tweet is still up (archive).

Melton’s new thing is that he picks a chatter that doesn’t have a NLO channel membership and offers — to anyone who will gift that specific person a membership — a $100 gift card to the NLO store. The issues with this are:
  1. You can’t direct gifted memberships to specific people. Melton knows this. But urging people to do so milks money out of morons.
  2. Someone can click either “not interested” and/or “don’t recommend channel” and they won’t get gifted memberships to that channel.
  3. Melton can just pick one of his alt accounts to target for this “gift” and when the alt has clicked not interested/don’t recommend on NLO, those morons could buy memberships 24/7 for eternity and the targeted account will never receive one.
  4. IIRC, if you have a brand/business YT account then you can’t receive gifted memberships at all.
If you’re ever struggling with self-esteem, just remember that at least you’re not a Patrick Melton fan.
