I think people are specifically referring to the “Paradox” version of Suicune.

People are stupid and just assume it’s a Pokemon copy rather than just based on the same animal the Pokemon is.

Because it kinda sorta maybe looks like a rabbit. So “clearly” they’re ripping off Lopunny. Some people are just that insistent on claiming PalWorld has nothing to offer.
 
I had a lot of fun with Palworld when it first came out. I remember getting to the end of the content and shelving it for a later date. Seeing that they're doing 1.0 is probably when I'll pick it back up.

Has anyone played recently? I imagine they've made a ton of changes since launch between nintendo bullshit and general updates. Any good?

Oh yeah, there’s been some great updates since the release. A bunch of new Pals, the level cap went up, raid bosses, a bunch of new weapons:/armors/base items, you can now combine copies of blueprints to upgrade them, there’s an item that lets you search your emotive base for all items, a chest that links to all your bases at once, towns are more populated, they added side quests….

honestly i don't get why they don't just bring this criticism up with the developers themselves instead of Nintendo, hell i even somewhat agree that some of the designs are derivative like verdash and cremis, but most of the time they usual take huge stretches claiming some of the pals that of similar concept, had been done millions of times are rip-offs despite not even looking alike and not the others just because it's in a different art style which they still usually still do but once it's in a pokemonish Esque style they automatically dictate them as ripoffs no matter how different (Idk if that's the right word but im just going work with that) they look, it comes off as performative and morale grand standish instead of actually solving the problem instead of begging a company to sue them despite not really doing anything that scummy besides a few derivative designs.
