Im a fan of minimalist shoes. I got some metal in my leg and when I relearned how to walk I found my regular sneakers contributed to my knee pain. Having wide and small feet doesn't help, but these shoes do.

Now I basically only wear these shoes. Not fashionable but I don't really care. If I do kinda care then I wear these. I have ones in plain black. I dont understand why you can get them in some of the ugly colors they have.

My most expensive pair of shoes are two water-proof, snakebite-proof leather snake boots. But so far they have lasted me 2 years and as long as I take care of them they should easily last me longer.

Other than that I have 1 pair of rubber boots, 1 pair hiking boots, 1 pair running shoes, 1 pair sandals, and 1 pair of formal leather oxfords.

Just get some Waxi boots if you have to have autistic LARPy footwear. Bonus- they just look like a simplistic workboot. And don't get the antitracking sole if you're in a climate that sees more than 100cm of rainfall per year.

Those are actually surprisingly easy to walk in. It's not any different from walking in a normal heel. But I've only worn the Jeffery Campbell ones, which are made out solid wood and leather / suede. That's a $25 pair from Rue 21 and probably uncomfortable as fuck.
