Fujoshi need so called "food" to thrive. If you give them a stable, gay couple from the beginning it will be welcomed, but lukewarm. What gets them is the "slow buildup" - innuendos, certain character interactions, story episodes, even wardrobe. These are the materials they need to make more gay porn. Sexual content for men influences fujoshi a lot, that's why if you look up any female hentai artist who draws the most degenerate porn for men, she is likely to be a fujoshi rather than a troon.
