Yes, I've long thought this. Like a man making gross advances repeatedly to a woman all night which she rebuffs and then waiting until she is near black out drunk incapacitated to "have sex with her" does not register to a lot of men as rape. Internet discussion around "it's not rape just because she had a beer, come on" has probably reinforced this mindset even though that's not what anyone is talking about. Boys in Steubenville case protested in court that they had no idea they were doing anything wrong and I believe them. I guess the Jessica Valenti type feminists back in the day noticed this and tried to hector men into getting “enthusiastic consent” but I don’t think that’s how any of this works…And so, the man is a rapist, without any premeditation, probably without even considering what he did to be rape. In his mind, he didn't jump out of the bushes on an unsuspecting woman, she'd had sex with him before, she enjoyed having sex with him before, it was fine for him to show up uninvited and have sex with her. Okay maybe he was a little pushy but he was drunk, that's fine, it's normal when you're drunk!
Anyway.
No hate exactly but I really don’t like how men will eat like children. My husband is a great man but I will make a nice kale salad and he will just pick the chicken out and then eat candy to fill up for dinner. I literally can’t get him to stop eating like that. He is otherwise a responsible adult.
