The only nu metal album/band I enjoyed was the Union Underground's An Education in Rebellion, they were most known for their WWE Monday Night Raw theme "Across the Nation"

While very maligned, and in some cases justifiably so, nu-metal was always a catchall buzzphrase descriptor for lazy music journos. When people use that old term today, it reminds me why people hated places like pitchfork.
Limp Bizkit was never nu metal. Anyone who thinks Alice in chains was is retarded. Nu metal, if you want to really pigeonhole it, was bands like Disturbed, Coal Chamber, Powerman 5000, Cold, Monster magnet, and numerous other bands from the era. I never hated it like some did, a lot of that music is just fun dumb shit to headbang to while drunk or if you want be angsty.
Slipknot et al is kind of it's own thing.

Schlocky rap-metal/hard rock, to me. I dislike most of their catalog, but there's a few songs I'll go back and listen to every now and then when I'm really drunk.

Ah yes, Motorhead, Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath, the "normal metal" bands that weren't mainstream garbage "goyslop" omnipresent in pop culture.

Yeah as I expected, just call me an idiot without any substance. Half of this page is you bitching about how bad nu-metal was, and you're nothing special by doing so, everyone in the 2000's said the same thing a million times already.
I would suggest you to go to this thread to actually talk about music you like, but given that you only ever posted there once compared to this thread, I don't think you actually enjoy metal at all.
Sure. But remember, people who dislike a given music genre don't go into threads dedicated to it and shit it up saying how much they hate it. They don't even think about it, but you seem to be obsessed with nu metal given your posting record.
