I know you're talking about Crash Team Rumble. Never played Crash before, but Crash Team Rumble did too little to catapult itself as a party game or live service title. I think there WERE party games with Crash before this, not counting the kart racers.

I thought it was zombies in the teaser but that might be too “mature” for persona. I thought it was SMT6 at first so there is something to be said about that.

"Too mature" for Persona might not be the case anymore given disturbing nature of the trailer, and P5's already mature (if also poorly executed) plot, characters, and themes.

I will say this, though. Regardless of whatever becomes of P6, if you removed the logos from the trailer, I would have never guessed it was for a Persona game. I think that says a lot, and in this very instance, is a good thing.

I had a personal theory. If GTA 6 would be showcased in any of these presentations, it would eclipse over any and all upcoming game releases. So, Rockstar, being the selective guys they are, thought: let's give everybody an opportunity to show what they got, THEN we do our own thing and watch interest reignite.
