I think a CA thread in Multimedia might be a better solution than a Community Watch lolcow thread. Why? Because with threads about content producers like this, a lot of the times when there either isn't a steady output of actual *Lolcow* content, the lolcow-y content takes a backseat to casual chatter about the content that these people produce. And that's something that has a lot of times alienated people who come for the Lolcow content instead of y'know, people talking about the content that they used to produce.

However, the content with reviewer types is so intertwined with the reasons why they're a lolcow it's nigh-inseparable and that can lead to thread stagnation where people begin to discuss the content said people are producing for pages upon pages when the well is dry with actual cow content.

It would also allow people to discuss goings-on with Channel Awesome people who aren't considered Lolcows without said discussion being off topic fat clogging the discussion about the more eccentric people.

I have a friend who got really poorly treated by her on Facebook way back when. This friend is also a pretty hardcore feminist as well, for your information, although she may not have been at the time. In general, Lindsay just seems like a disagreeable person.

We have evidence of people turning full 360s without some sort of major psychotic break (like "Buffalo Bill"), namely from religious guy to SJW fanatic, like David Willis or Izzy Galvez, but I'm not sure if Lindsay was like that enough to try to a "nuke everything" approach.

Then again, I've known people from high school who went on to become a small-time celebrity and almost completely white-washed their past from anything related to high school and below. (I haven't dug around in their Facebook long enough to actually confirm on the photos because I'm not a creepy stalker, but it's still at the point of "nuked or very hard to find").
 
Ah man, I liked her videos. Well, most of them. I did think her persona was a bit too bitchy which led to less comedy, but it was still good to see stuff looked at critically but more calmly. Doug just kind of flails his arms around and screams a lot in a lot of his videos, which can be funny and all but eh.
He's recently started to turn to the dark side too, though...he has been using terms like "white privilege" and has a group of new characters called "meninists".
What pissed me off about Lindsay is that it seems like she didn't even try to fit in with the CA group dynamic. She showed up, did a couple of videos that they wanted her to do, and then started doing her own videos and topics since she now had a ton of viewers. That just rubs me the wrong way.
 
So is it automatically lolcow territory when you start following SJWs? There's barely any content on here. The OP just bitches about how she's a band geek and that she's a tumblrina. Why does that make her a lolcow, or even a person of interest? As soon as she starts to smears shit on her walls, let me know. Otherwise, *yawn*.

People thought at first it was probably a look-alike, since the girl had her shoulder blades poking out whilst horizontal, and you'd think someone with Lindsays build wouldn't have that feature, except going through some of her old photos it seems when she does go horizontal, it appears her shoulderblades also stick upwards.

At the time backsearching the first pic only led me to Cuckoldry Fiction featuring that as a stock image. Is it Lindsay? Probable. Is there more? Who knows?

I don't see how anyone can look at that picture and think it's Lindsay. Her skin is more red, her nose, eyebrows, and lips are different, she has wrinkles under her nose and around her mouth. This is basically a middle aged housewife and the only connection is they're both brunettes with freckles.

Pretty much. Every video that includes her as a guest commentator tends to have some sort of sexual pun directed towards her gender, which is why I assumed she wanted to drop her "Nostalgia Chick" monkier and go "Feminist To The Extreme" when she started Chez Apocalypse. Bare in mind that she started doing her feminist schtick very early on when she reviewed Pocahontas, her first video.

Well, no, but just because they're not a literal shit-throwing, autistic, diaperfur who may or may be not be a pedophile doesn't mean they're not worthy of a thread.

We have threads with hundreds of pages on individuals who basically spend their lives on Twitter and make long, rambling statements that they think is profound. We also have a whole subforum dedicated to Tumblr as well.
 
I just watched some of her Loose Cannon videos, and was amazed at two things
  1. People were paying her (quite a bit) money for this
  2. The ammount of time it takes for her to make them
They seem like slightly above average College Video Essays on the history of film, but this appears to be her main "thing" at the moment

Her "Dark and secret past" is really nothing more than her being a thirsty tumblr fangirl that bullied other fangirls, now she thinks shes moved beyond that, when in reality, shes still that Weird Band Camp girl who browses Tumblr all day and reposts SJW stuff while bullying others from behind her keyboard. In a sort of Dobson-like way.

Theres really nothing more to it than that.

So what's Lindsay Ellis up to recently? I glanced her Twitter hours ago and so far it's just generic tweets.
 
I liked her better when she was using the Nostalgia Chick character and writing decent jokes and skits and not these dry essays with her getting drunk during them.

Also yeah her obsession with Transformers and her starting Twitter accounts of Transformers is a bit weird. Especially since Starscream is supposed to be some sort of Red Pill/MRA/MGTOW type according to her, is that the joke? But then again these types have this odd sense of humor.
