It's what I truly hate the most about enbies. You can cite whatever vague "history" you want, biology is still not beaten when it comes to a "non-gender". If someone were "non-gender", there would be things that are physically discernible about them. Since there absolutely isn't, you need someone to read your mind about it when you "identify" as non-binary, and you are absolutely entitled to be mad about it if people don't get it.
We have seen time and time again that when reality offends you, it is morally necessary to destroy reality.

It's not necessarily the craziest thing in the world to say you're destroying what everyone thinks about what reality is (e.g., there was a time when everyone thought Earth was flat).

My problem is when you think you're doing that as some sort of revolutionary or innovator by simply saying, "I am neither male nor female."

What are you bringing to the world? What innovation? How are you carrying humanity forward?

"Non-binary" is the trifling whim of a spoiled population. It's someone claiming an unverifiable special status that literally would change nothing about the world if you just shut up and kept it a private thought in your head.

Slowly but surely we're starting to see more people recognize that "nonbinary" is just a type of woman
There will be a singularity point in the concept of identity politics, wherein anyone who isn't straight, white, and male will simply fall under the category of "marginalized", which really is just a formalization of the "victim status" card. That might be refreshing as they will finally reach the equality that they claim they want. It won't happen, of course, as someone will always pipe up to say that per the rules of intersectionality, they are more marginalized.

It's just kind of fun to watch when someone who claims to be non-binary then goes ahead and shifts the fucking goalposts like it's a reflex borne of inborn stupidity and the need for attention.

I just met my first “adult” enby (i.e. not a vapid teenage dipshit, but a seriously vapid adult dipshit) at a wedding this summer. Walking stereotype, clearly the NPC loser of her family, who were mostly pretty accomplished and interesting. No tits whatsoever, and I spent entirely too much time wondering if she'd had the chop. Wondering also how someone in their 30s from a wealthy background, all the advantages, could be such an utter waste. She latched onto my wife and is now trying to make friends, apparently on the basis of all sorts of disabilities etc. that she thinks my wife can help with. This could be a source of laughs, but I would really prefer to read about someone else having the experience.

Much hilarity at this over on Twitter:

There is a pathological amount of psychological collusion going on here.

Emma Corrin knows she's a woman.
Variety knows Emma Corrin is a woman.
Emma Corrin knows Variety knows and can't challenge her.
And society knows Emma is a woman, Variety has shared delusional disorder with Emma, and we're not supposed to say anything about it either.

It's like The Emperor's New Clothes but instead of the town recognising what's going on after the kid has pointed out the emperor is naked, instead half the population clutches its pearls, doubles and triples down, increases its stranglehold on the cultural institutions, goes home, actually sleeps at night, and wakes up imagining themselves to be your moral better.

I think the average person treats “nonbinary” as if it’s a self-proclaimed title that people like to give themselves. Like someone who describes themselves as “spiritual” or “an empath” or things along those lines. It’s a woo-woo thing that mostly women buy into. And people politely go along with it because no harm no foul. And I think we’re getting more closer to that being the official accepted treatment of it. The mainstream no longer acknowledges it as its own separate category of “gender,” but rather just the kinda thing that certain types embrace. We loosely categorize these people all under the same umbrella

I actually agree with you and I hope this is how it plays out. I worry that I felt the same way about troonism in general not too many years ago… like it was an odd and infrequent phenomenon, nothing to worry about (despite my having grown up in a home with literal old-school drag queens).

how many male 'enbies' have you guys come across, online or otherwise, only one comes to mind for me.
There are a few in show-biz/social networks, and they are invariably odious. Rapey actor Ezra Miller, grotesque singer Sam Smith (below), child-catcher Jeffrey Marsh. And that bald bag thief a few years ago.

I forgot about these guys, my brain I guess categorized them under 'gigantic fags'

The only other one I can think about online is Skatune Network/JER seems to be just a slightly effeminate black dude that uses pronouns to get art hoe pussy. He's not a bad musician honestly.
