He is also rarely sober on set, so a production has to be willing to put up with that when they hire him and he is not that good of an actor.

I am shocked he gets as much work as he does.

Nolan has the skills to make a well crafted film on a technical level. It will be good enough to baffle the normies and the inbred who will passively watch the film and let it wash over them. Think like Dark Knight Rises. It will be upon a few days after when upon reflection people will realize it wasn't very good.

Then will become the usual film slap fight, where Nolan stans will stamp their feet and scream about how it's a masterpiece for about....6 months. The box office will be ok but not great and Nolan's next film will do worse.
