The glazing for Argonaut needs to stop. All they were responsible for was developing the 3D technology for Super Nintendo. There was a very good reason why they were kicked to the curb immediately afterward and never produced anything of value ever again.

Are you actually retarded? Argonaut sold the IP to Nintendo as part of the publishing deal.

Mario Kart Tour is officially ending service on September 29th. That's seven years after it released, four years after they changed the way MTXs work due to lawsuits, and three years after they stopped actively developing the game. Sale of in-game currencies and premium subscriptions have also ended but players can still continue receiving benefits from the latter if they renewed before today and all players will receive these benefits in August. Oh, and Nintendo said that there are no plans for an offline version of the app.

I gotta say, I enjoyed Tour up until people started to get sweaty and it became more and more of a "pay-to-do-better" game. At least a good chunk of the track in the game are in 8 Deluxe's Booster Course pass.

What's the point of being a pedantic faggot like this? He was clearly involved in the scenario/character design and so had some hand in creating the series. If it weren't for the little animals and story Nintendo crammed in there, it'd be as forgotten as Stunt Race FX. I can't imagine giving enough of a shit that Argonaut created the Super FX Chip and initial game engine that I feel the need to quote a post from two months ago and make an "Ackchyually..." post like a fucking Redditor.

respectful disagree here, as even a cursory glance at what people have tried to pull off with the original switch's software past firmware 4.1.0 alone has proven to bring nothing and modchips are needed to replicate the hardware exploit original models had, even reimplementing the OS and the (first) Switch specific software has brought no real exploit vectors and consitering one of the noted things about the SoC in the Switch 2 is the further hightened security and how little can be done without userland permissions... if you want.to argue with the people who have the knowledge for how this shit works and how a small "get into the web browser" exploit won't help, by my guest.
