What was Nick like when Anna first met him? Also, is he really as dumb as he seems, or is it really all just some stupid act to look cute?

Nick Bate is someone that I wish he got arrested and sent to prison where I live. Some prisons are so much shitty in Brazil that a cell that fits 2 inmates, there are 8. Did he got arrested? I won't bother reading the rest of the thread, I hope he did.

Reading that U.S. couldn't be dumber part makes me think it's fitting if he is a U.S. citizen who learned a thing or two about U.S. history. After all, when you think some of the citizens of the U.S. couldn't get dumber with some things, this guy can drive it further with ignorance of the civil war.

I'm morbidly curious.

- What was Anna's initial assessment of Nick when they first started communicating, and how long did it take before she realised there was something seriously wrong with him? Was there anything about him that initially attracted her to him? How long before she found out about those teeth (THOSE TEETH!)

- I'm not sure which website or service first brought Nick and Anna together, but does Anna still use that website/service, or chat with random internet people, or engage in cybersex, or generally do anything online that's similar to whatever she was doing that led to her and Nick becoming acquainted, or has the whole Nick Bate saga scared her away from the internet in general? I'm guessing probably not, since it appears she's okay with you relaying questions to her, but isn't popping up here herself to answer any. Not that I blame her, obviously.

- How close did Nick and Anna end up getting? Aside from the obvious first-and-last-name basis they were on, was there ever phone communication, or an IRL meeting? Did Anna come into contact with any of Nick's relatives or vice-versa, and if so, what was her take on that?

- What exactly was the tipping point that prompted her to break off all communication with Nick? Were there any significant warning flags that came before that, significant enough to still stand out in her mind?

- Probably most importantly, does Anna consider Nick to be a credible threat to her in any way?
 
I read through this entire thread today, and now I just feel like I need to take a shower. This guy is such a creep whether he's telling the truth or full of shit.

I remember reading earlier that Nick gets shipped around a lot by his family (probably trying to make him capable of functioning in society) and he doesn't always have internet available.

I understood that he tweets from his phone and has a data cap, but your theory is more interesting.

When Nick's slow suicide finally comes to an end, I'm going to send flowers to his funeral. Any ideas what I should write on the card? "Shit happens?"
 
This was from last week's batch, but the idea of Nick asking one of his mother's friends to make him a suit of armor or something for free just struck me as really hilarious:

Quite apart from the "bad idea" nature of giving this boy a weapon of any sort, box cutter included, I can seriously see him upset because some guy didn't want to hammer out the links, etc. it takes to make one maille shirt, or because it was explained to him that that sort of thing is kind of tedious and takes a while to do.
