I think he was talking about number of trick-or-treaters there, in his typically vague and horrifying fashion. The idea of children going to his apartment is kind of horrifying too, though.

Yeah. In the city where I live, the kids usually avoid complexes since most people don't answer the door. Unless it's one of these apartments where you don't have a lobby where you have to buzz people in, some apartments I've seen are just in rows with doors that directly go outside.
