A passenger van driven by a 44 year old Spicer man with his family was travelling southbound on Co. Rd. 9 when it attempted to avoid a large payloader that was crossing the roadway in front of them. The van struck the payloader in the bucket area.

A very different account of the accident than Nick's. Loader crossing road in a flat, open industrial area and Nick manages to run his van into the bucket,

For those who would like a visual of what the fuck this retard managed to hit.

He saw this crossing the road and tried to gun it to try and beat it. That's the only way I can see it happening based off the description of the event.

So was Nick posting on X at approx 5:30 PM?

I am glad that no children appear to be seriously harmed, however, you can be sure that this accident will be treated as a payday that will involve spinal injuries....
Better Call Saul.

That road is so insanely straight and open, it's crazy that this happened. But if the vehicle pulled out on him, it's probably that van's fault. However, he was no doubt speeding.

Everything looks so open on both sides of the road that he should have been able to see it from forever away. And those things don't move all that fast. He should have been able to either stop or go around it.

Holy shit, his premiums are fucked if he’s found at fault. Those things are expensive (~100k$).

Its a no-fault state. He is still going to suffer though. And he is already paying a small fortune given all the speeding tickets IF he even has insurance. One of his tickets I believe was for not having insurance.

That idiot hit a slow-moving construction vehicle. He's lucky they aren't all dead.

But that said I could see a scenario if the thing backed into the road not realizing a car was coming. Nick likely not paying attention at all, likely speeding, too, but if they're on/ off the road they usually have workers in the road stopping/ directing traffic.

If this makes Nick money I'm going to be annoyed.

Funnier. Google street view shows one waiting to cross the road at Duininck Scale.
Only location that makes sense from the description.

Wide open intersection. Wanna bet the faggot was speeding?

Except the report is that he hit the bucket specifically. So the loader would have had to been in the middle of the road if it were backing out for the bucket to be what Nick hit. Which if that's the case there no way Nick didn't see it ahead of time and isn't at fault.

Id like to hope there would be photos of the damage to the bucket eventually found. Which would tell us what happened. If the driver/left side of the bucket was hit, then it was pulling out and Nick tried to beat it. If the damage is on the right, the thing was in the middle of the road and Nick tried to beat it.
