Well, this will be another show canceled after the first season. At least the Resident Evil movies were fun because of how goofy they were.

I think I would like it more if they were all original characters, and not Albert Wesker and his two kids.
The guy was great in Fringe but I don't get why they'd make him Wesker and then give him two kids. It's not even the same character at that point and would have been way better to just make him a side story of the Racoon City events from the perspective of an Umbrella researcher. Making him Wesker just pisses people off who wanted to see a real Wesker story and doesn't expand on the lore of the franchise when there's a ton of stories you could tell in that one city.

> teenage sisters who are angsty because they've moved to a new town and the offspring of a canon villain which causes even more angst

Netflix has lost so much money that they've resorted to stealing every 12 year old's first OC.

It’s interesting how Netflix loves to turn previously-established white characters into black ones and then turn them into deadbeat dads. Really activates those almonds.

everyone involved with these kinds of modern productions need to be put down like the sick dogs they are.

https://youtube.com/watch?v=2tb9ENbFWvQFirst teaser is out. I think I would like it more if they were all original characters, and not Albert Wesker and his two kids. Since a lot of it at least looks better than that live action movie that came out a few months back (as in the creatures, zombies and settings, more than the characters).
0:14 the box of phials labelled B - I wonder if Netflix are retarded enough to think the T-Virus was named after a labelling system...

My brain hurts….

Another teaser dropped. Why are they putting the T-virus into pills for antidepression etc? What possible reason would they have to do that? I know Umbrella are an evil megacorp, but that seems like too stupid of a tactic compared to the games (which were mostly military reasons from memory).

I'm going to do a rare thing and defend Netflix here by saying it sounds like something that'd be so comically evil and retarded on a scale only the Umbrella Corporation could muster. Hell it sounds downright reasonable compared to half the crap in Code: Veronica

This looks like something the guys at Bloody Disgusting with praise and their fans will comment how "scary" it looks. Personally if it wasn't for the Umbrella symbols or mentioning the T-virus I wouldn't know this was Resident Evil. Feels like bad zombie film with a budget.

For some reason the live action adaptations manage to be somehow MORE retarded than the games by having Umbrella's big plan be to wipe out the entire planet because... reasons? Rather than it all just being a horrible accident that got their shady side-business exposed, then forcing them to go underground as essentially a biotech terrorist organization.

This is the issue with all of these movies. They must think fans are so stupid that all they like about the games is the zombies.

I've seen people on Boomerbook claim they're giving it a shot because they finally have big spiders and gravedigger...

The average consumer is a god damn retard.

If they at leats let Reddick wear the shades and trenchcoat in the trailer he'd at least look like a cosplayer. No thank you. He'd be a good choice for the character if they actually let him be the character.
