The irony that none of them grasp (because if they did grasp it they wouldn't post there) is that Reeera is exactly the way they want society at large to be. Unelected leaders using commissars to police what opinions are allowed, what topics may be discussed, even what individual words are permissible. All in the name of harmony, justic and equality.
Yet there is no harmony, justice or equality on that forum. The totalitarianism just makes everyone both frightened and enraged. And because they can't touch the commissars or the people at the top, they turn on each other instead. Kiwifarms, which is supposedly this far-right hellsite of hatred and inceldom, has so much less tension between its members, even though its membership composes a much greater range of political and moral viewpoints than Era. We allow all words, all opinions, discussion of all topics. Some of those things might get you bullied and laughed at, but it's vanishingly rare for a post here to be jannied with the words "you can't say that". That prevents people from building up seething rage. We can vent at each other with any words we like and we can make jokes that are actually designed to offend. That acts as a safety valve, you call me a retard spastic, I call you a niggerfaggot, and we all get on with our day. In a thought-policed mandatory hugbox, everyone walks on eggshells in public then retreats to their Discords to plot against each other.
Don't get me wrong, some people on the Farms do seethe and rage at each other, because some people are just angry and I don't think Null bans as many shit-stirring retards as he maybe should, but it is completely unlike the constant warring and factionalism you see on Era. A society run by Farmers would have its problems for sure, but I would rather live there than in the total hellscape that an Era-run society would.
None of those people are happy, but they have been convinced that all other forums are evil and racist and oppressive and filed with Nazis. So they feel trapped there, and the mods know that and take full advantage to abuse their power and generally take out their own frustrations on the serfs. It's the same way cults work - convince your members that the outside world is full of sin, and you have a captive audience to rape, enslave and abuse.
This is how they want the world to be. Never forget.
I have no idea what the fuck this game is about but it seems that you need to fill a quota of posts for each successive thread without filling the mods' rage meter. The other people's posts are randomly generated nonsequitur and you pick between 3 options plus an image attachment for impack and 3 edits.
It seems that making spicy posts when certain users request it gives you access to crypto to buy a few powerups between threads but also bump the posting quota.
All in all i'm not gonna recommend it unless the developer will clarify some of the mechanics.

He didn't actually announce this new policy as far as i can tell.
My theory is that he's not actually under orders, but he's embarrassed by the plurality of successful OTs by banned people that get stalled due to the aforementioned decapitations.
The etcetera hangout OTs are a notoriously entrenched set of threads with almost no moderator infiltration (the few that become mods get ostracized, i wonder how..). I believe this is a way for threads to get hijacked by staff and their worms to improve monitoring.
Indeed, if you look at the few high quality hobby OTs you see that the first 10's of pages are a massacre of crossed out names who were having a genuinely good time until they ran into the inevitable nep-nep bait thread or something.
The latter pages are just bumps and people not even interacting with one another, just announcing inane shit.

He is probably being leaned on because of the lack of new threads being created after he and the gestapo banned 90% of accounts created in the history of the board.
The corporate overlords can't be happy to see the forum they bought withering away, so requiring quarterly refreshes of the community threads would boost those numbers, as artificially as any pump and dump scheme boosts numbers for a bit.
