Does anyone have a video of the opening? This is all I can find at the moment and it's pretty shitty quality.

The scary thing is how they managed to scrubbed the full length video of the opening ceremony from the internet.
Video is only available through torrent sites. I am not sure if we are allowed to post those links here.
The opening ceremony is available on Peacock, including all of the athlete boats, though it's already set to be purged at the end of the Olympics. Not really surprised about the difficulty of finding it elsewhere because NBC is surely enforcing its exclusive broadcasting rights.I thought that would be archived here of all places. Maybe too much heat though.
I don't know if it's NBC or the IOC or the EU but someone's being a bitch. Not even Eurovision has such hardcore geoblocking. Not really surprised about the difficulty of finding it elsewhere because NBC is surely enforcing its exclusive broadcasting rights.
Has anyone figured out how to watch the actual sports for free? I have something I desperately need to see, but I'm not quite desperate enough to give NBC money. The opening ceremony is available on Peacock, including all of the athlete boats, though it's already set to be purged at the end of the Olympics. Interestingly, though, I just found out that the Olympics YouTube channel has hours-long videos of previous opening ceremonies:

Russia, angry that their athletes were banned for “doping”, hacked the World Anti Doping Agency’s exemption list and revealed that a bunch of “clean” Western athletes were on PEDs.then went into Japan with her saying at some point that it was devastating for the rest of the team that they didn't get to watch her perform and how awful everyone was for being mad that she chose HER MENTAL HEALTH over competing and then ended with her big grrrlboss promotion where she bloviated to rapt attention from the white female interviewer about all the hard work she put in to overcoming her ~trauma~ from Japan.
From the Thunderdome thread, link is still valid.Does anyone have a video of the opening? This is all I can find at the moment and it's pretty shitty quality.
The full 4 hour opening was saved by some russiafag here. I found it on Yandex by accident, I didn't think it'd be on a Russian social site.

It likely won't be taken down, but just in case I initiate you to save it fully before it's BTFO (sorry, I'm not downloading 7GB of HD video onto my hard drive)
It's safe to assume every competitive athlete is at least on HGH while training because it's out of your system so quick it's hard to catch. Restrictions on inhaled beta-2 agonists (like albuterol) are also pretty loose, but at least it's not as prevalent as in American pro sports where practically everyone has an asthma diagnosis for...reasons.It's really silly people still believe that there is such a thing as a clean olympic athlete in any country in any sport. Doesn't mean they aren't admirable, there is just too much on the line for them to turn their nose up substances that will make them 2-3 meters faster every hundred meters, or allow them to do months of intense training without accumulating fatigue.
Somebody posted an OK link a few days ago, which I downloaded. Would love to share here, but it's 8 GB. So I'll need to reencode it overnight to fit on Litterbox. The scary thing is how they managed to scrubbed the full length video of the opening ceremony from the internet.
