Navy SEALs, Delta Force, and SOCOM general - The most "Special" groups in the U.S. Military

They obviously chose him because of the "He and Trump (the patriots) against the Government (corrupt swamp) and the patriots won" narrative. I guess if Florida wants to have its private army SOF so that they can kick out the feds like the Texas National Guard did, that's certainly a decision. I don't know what Floridians think of it, and I'm sure the Feds are keeping a close eye on it.

He's a good hire if you're trying to pander to the Black Rifle Coffee crowd.

In the book "Combat Swimmer" Captain Robert Gormly details much of Demo Dick's career long malfeasance as a Navy Seal. As the second commanding officer of Seal Team 6 Gormly was awash (pun intended) in Demo Dick's corruption. Gormly was brought in right the ship. His performance was highly questionable. Gormly stonewalled investigations into ST6 and covered for many of its former members facing criminal charges.

Captain Murphy is the long sought after "quiet professional." He never wrote about his experiences and gave very few interviews. Like Gormly before him Murphy seems to have failed to curtail the corruption within ST6. He was removed after just 2 years at his post (ST6 is normally a 3 year pump). The failures of Gormly and Murphy caused the dissolution and reformation of the command.

ST6 ceased to be. In its place rose Naval Special Warfare Development Group (DEVGRU). The official story is that ST6 had become too public and was forced to change its named to regain some anonymity. That story is false. Former members of ST6, in their numerous tomes, attested to the fatal incompetence and mass corruption within ST6.

In his book "Inside ST6" Mann details the following:

ST6 Seals emulate their first CO .png

self defense trainer is his own worst enemy.png

ST6 Seals are the best jumpers in teh military.png

Rich dies in the kill house.png

Mann's statements are backed up by another ST6 member, Howard Wasdin. In his book "Memoirs of an Elite Navy Seal Sniper" Wasdin produced the following passage:
putting the special in special operations.png

Some in this thread will no doubt remember Wasdin's hilarious reddit AMA in which his former teammates dropped by for a good ole fashioned public bitch fest:
Seals Bark at Wasdin.png

While we're on the topic of Seals Jocko had this to say when he was questioned about Chris Kyle's lies:
Stolen Valor Good .png

Stolen Valor? Good. Everyone in the SEALs, Army, and Marines deserve more bling than they got. Obligatory

There have been quite a few Hispanic Delta Ooperators over the years. The Marine Corps is getting close to majority Hispanic now as well. Googling the username there are some broken GBRS/TribeSk8z links. IIRC DJ made some skateboards with the Delta logo. All of GBRS social media appears to be down.
That's what gets me about the SS thing in the paddle. A hispanic dude giving a neonazi sign front and center to Marcus Mcfly in an ethnically diverse organization. Really werid.

GBRS is still getting roasted over sending the cops to arrest the black employee for their own incompetence (a big no-no). I expect a rebranding and perhaps a lawyer settlement before any social media goes live.

Hey, great first post in the Kiwifarms! Thanks for the contributions and the names. Really, that Jocko quote is something else. What a cop out. Losers aren't winners, Jocko. And yeah, I can imagine how under Dick's leadership and later ingrained ethos, ST6 and DEVGRU would fuck up and kill their own in training accidents. I wonder the sheer amount of "near misses" from sheer incompetence and fuck-ups there must have been but we never heard.

Glenn Devitt and the Sentinel Foundation give me weird grifter vibes. He talks like a crypto bro bullshitter. "Learning chess taught me how to manipulate people undercover" Sure thing, bud. How does a non-profit have the legal authority to hunt down sex traffickers in foreign countries anyway? These organizations say they fight sex trafficking, accept donations, and then post vague stories on social media.

At least he doesn't try to pass himself off as an Operator. This other podcast Andy Stumpf hosted definitely jump cut the part where he talked negatively about Delta.

Yeah, I started hearing him, and he sounds like a classic corporate narcissistic psychopath. All the bragging about "My dad beat me in chess until I was 13, and he never beat me since". And how he manipulates people. Red fucking flags. I've been snooping around their website and it's sketchy as hell. His business model seems like barely legal vigilantism. Oh, he got demoted once for drinking and resisting arrest. Yeah, and he's bragging about his exploits like most corporates douches I've seen.

Holy shit, this is insane/dangerous/stupendously stupid. How are the people participating and looking through probably private data vetted and given cross-access to people's info? If they got data through hacking and share it among themselves, I'm sure that some of the "bad guys" can get in on it if it's a public effort and tip off the bad guys.

"Participants meet in person and virtually and get points for digging up info on bad guys or victims."

My fucking God, Null was right. The sex-traffic/pedo-hunting crowd are insane. Also, there was no mention of actual arrests being done.
At most, it said they got "five actionable leads for the Montana police" for a 200-person effort. That's a beyond pathetic use of human capital. It smells like a grift. The first rule of surveillance is being discrete. And organizing a sex-trafficker hunting game in public is totally the fucking opposite.

Just to be clear, I have nothing against searching up publicly available data and archiving it, but I don't think it's cool going around doing amateur vigilantism with randos that can potentially alter people's life if you get it wrong.

This is the cross border raid Jeff Tiegs described in his interview with David Hookstead. Were they just spraying randomly? How do The Best Combat Shooters In The World™ wound, but not kill, seven additional people on the target?

GBRS Group is back on Instagram. They got mass reported but IG restored their account.

One thing I'd like to mention, because I saw it a long time ago. Don Shipley Sr. once he retired went to work with Blackwater as a contractor in the Middle East. He personally knew the one of SEAL that got burnt and hung at the bridge in Fallujah. He said that many people had the misconception that contractor work makes you rich because they look at the paycheck number. But he explained, "meh, it doesn't pay that well". A lot of things that were a given when you work for the government, are now on you.

The two biggest ones are life insurance and medical insurance, because you ain't getting a plane trip and treatment in Walter Reed as a mercenary. Once you subtract those costs and a few more, he said, you are left with about, or a bit more money per month that'd you'd be making as a team guy doing that job. He said it's just a way to keep earning and not depend on your pension if you still want to use your skill set.
the cia guys get health and benefits.
Eddie Gallagher is training the Florida State Guard Special Operations Company, among others.

with how shitty florida is, the cops would want the stone colded, cold blooded killer to teach them.

Wasn't there a tv show or documentary about SOF vets catching poachers in africa? the producers asked a number of vets and they all declined over the legal ramifications of killing poachers. legal in africa, illegal in america. The skull games sound like that except all the retards said fuck the legal shit.

To lighten up the mood, here's a Jen Satterly video with the caption from Tom "Stay safe at Shot Show!" which Joey Goodloe didn't follow sadly. But the video is pretty funny. BTW, from what I'm understanding, SHOT! is just an excuse for military members to go to Las Vegas to party and not so much about business.

San Diego Navy SEAL under investigation for alleged extremist affiliations/Archive
This SEAL is really just a normie Republican. Cringe but not a terrorist. Never appeared in uniform and didn't mention his status at any protests. Don't think it violates any regulations.

He enlisted in 2010 and was assigned to a West Coast SEAL team in 2011. In 2015, he was assigned to Naval Special Warfare Development Group in Dam Neck, Virginia. "DEVGRU," better known as "SEAL Team 6," has a reputation for only taking the best of the best SEALs.

Henson returned to a West Coast SEAL unit in 2016.
Sounds like he failed Green Team.

Never seen a SEAL with fucked up posture like that. Like a 70 year old man.

Yeah, that is a weird posture for firing. Unless he is just goofing around.

Still, it ain't his fight in politics yet. I'm not a JAG but it is a fine line, especially as an active duty. The brass don't want to be in the White house's shitlist, especially if the democrats get the re-election. I can see budget cuts and things that hurt the teams if the White House gets pissed enough.

Most SOF grunts, being red, even if they are not liking the blue woke politics, are still under the executive command. It's a dangerous game that the SEAL played, unless he's going for thr anti-woke grift bux after making a scandal.
