I want a place where we can share original landscape and nature photography.

The photos I took while on vacation in WA state.

I love landscape and nature photography. When the sun is the lighting, all you need is a good background and an HD camera.

I would love to see some of your work. Please share with me.

Some by me:

Favorite nature photographer: Alex Burke who uses large format film. He's been making the rounds for his lunar eclipse on the prairie photo but always has excellent work.

I got nothing special, but I still kept pics I had taken during the 2017 solar eclipse, so here's a few of those.

A couple months later, saw a web I wanted to take a pic of. Sometimes I'll take pictures of webs, but the iPhone camera just sucks ass, so these two are from the Canon.

Last year, I started taking pictures to send to my fiancé, so here's a selection such as the one where I was proud of catching a bird in flight.

And when I was visiting, I was stupid excited to see this amur honeysuckle in person (thought it was holly at first).

Maybe I'll have more pictures in the future, but I dunno.

Went for my first hike of the year last weekend took some pictures for the farms. You can see trees felled by beavers last summer, a beaver dam, and a beaver lodge.
Lovely stuff. We have coyotes in our marshes, sometimes see them running around during the day but too far for a pic.

It is that time of the year where it is very grey outside. It's fine but not my style so have some color.
