It feels like a dying breed of cow, doesn't it? I'm so glad posting in community happenings got it featured so he can be brought to other people. It's been said many times in this thread that he's essentially what Chris Chan would be like if money were no object, it's amazing.
I mean he's basically doing the exact same thing he's always been doing. His new IP to obsessively fail at monetizing is Islam. This time it's free IP and no one can take the license away from him. He literally just swapped Garfield out for Mohammad (who he claims in his book actually appeared to and spoke to him).
Still I don't think he'll stick to this for very long though, the Islam grift is already way too oversaturated online. Maybe he's doing this to appease his parents. It's a lot less embarrassing to tell business associates that your son is a religious scholar than it is to admit that he's a failed lasagna salesman.
Bring Me To Life as the audio for this made me lol. He's definitely a little bit more self aware than this thread is giving him credit for.
Someone posted how rare of a cow Nathen is recently; I can't find the post, but it got me thinking.
I joined this website for two reasons: the Greer lawsuits, and Nathen. I despise Greer as an individual, but an interested in the noble defense made by Hardin.
Nathen seems so different in his cowdom. It seems many of the other cows are observed as targets of pure ridicule. They have repugnant, self-destructive behavior, at which farmers love to lob insults theoretically confined to the walls of this website.
Nathen is wrapped in this almost pitiable naivety, a developmentally challenged and unloved child born into a bizarre circumstance which he can make absolutely no sense of. Much like Saint Terry's bird, he looks at this world of overwhelming opulence and has no faculties to grasp or comprehend it's machinations, yet he tries, and does so in good spirits. He tries to improve himself, but he is at a complete loss as how to do so.
Some will say it's a grift, but I think he's too simple to purely be grifting. I think it's a combination of cargo cult-like sales tactics, and him sincerely attempting to show the wholesome side of himself: that isolated child who so desperately wanted his family to take some time to play with him, but was left alone, imprisoned in a palace.
Far and away the most remarkable thing to me about Nathen is the fact that he got the rest of the world to go along with his delusions. I know it's because of his family money, but when an ordinary lolcow says "I want to acquire the Garfield license and burn millions of dollars on a chain of lasagne restaurants that serve school lunch tier frozen slop" it gets no further than some MSpaint concept art.
Nathen is just sane enough to acquire financing and secure a famous 20th century IP, but crazy enough to use a sit down meeting with Jim Davis to talk about Garfield porn.

Nathen is desperate for fame and influence, but I wouldn’t call him a grifter. Nathen is remarkably terrible at turning a profit and his batting average is as physically close to zero as humanly possible. It’s genuinely miraculous how awful he is at everything he tried to do, to the point he couldn’t even graduate high school without his dad stepping in. Someone else recently said Nathen is probably more self aware than we give him credit for, and after following him so closely for 5 years at this point, I don’t believe that’s the case. Nathen is often dishonest when he expresses interest and he constantly lies to over inflate his ego and sense of importance, but the shenanigans he gets up ton ina consistent basis without ever changing his style or outlook leads me to believe that he’s extremely genuine in his resolve, which is to be famous no matter what.
This is a man who has never known any real hardship but wants to larp like a crusader. Someone who spent his entire teens sitting on “his favorite couch” in Saudi Arabia watching MTV and Oprah because he was too high class to have any real friends, someone who when faced with back issues got the Arabian Royal family’s doctors to operate on him, and someone who like most rich kids, had a alcohol bender in Hollywood once he became an adult.
Nathen is an interesting cow because he’s not just a crazy autist, he’s a crazy autist who comes from the highest point of privilege possible in the world and has never once faced any external pushback because only a fool would say no to someone with more money than brain cells.
If Nathen were really a grifter, you’d think he’d have made at least a little money so far. But he’s made nothing, I personally might be his only real customer having bought the Garfield eats recipe book, his new book, and the Scooby Doo eats products for the purposes of this thread. The only person he might have grifted was Quinton Reviews of all people.
