I don't dislike the idea of making wmma more feminine to both appeal to women and simps, but again, the best solution is to dissolve the three divisions like he said for women's flyweight. No new contracts, face out the already sign girls, and no title shots. This will require heavy compensation for the women to stop lawsuits, but it's worth it to make the sport better. However the UFC doesn't care about making the product better, so they ain't
 
I will say this about Dustin's arrest. Dustin was at least decent enough to let himself be arrested by offering his hand to the officer. I've never seen any out-of-control fighter do that. It does go to show he is a class-act through and through, at least for a fighter.

Every other time i've seen a fighter out of control, they actually hurt someone or get themselves hurt.

I think he makes a good point about the marketing of WMMA, and from anime I know there is a large market for the "regular woman who also beats the fuck out of people" characters.
 
I feel bad for Porirer. You can't condone what he did but it seems he's going through some things and adding a bunch of boozing on top of it is making it worse.

At least he managed to give himself up to the police and be cuffed. People acting like he's the biggest piece of shit in the world but these same people would see a video of some wild nigglet stabbing someone and fighting police and would say "i dinn do nuttin'"

For now it looks like one of those cases where someone’s worst moment was a caught on camera. And because he’s a famous and respected athlete it’s a big deal, but at then end of the day he is just a guy.
But this isn’t a Jon Jones situation where that’s just his daily existence, so for now it’s more tragic than anything.

The problem of women's fighting sport is that nearly every big promos threat it like a serious business instead of the meme it always is. K1 is the only one that does it correctly and it actually works.

Since the UFC is now a big circus with clowns like Hoshit and Paddy being it's main draw, they should also follow this. I'd be hyped for real if they book Shevchenko vs an Indian/Bengali/Hong Kong/Taiwanese male "fighter".
I unironically favor shev over a man from the regions mentioned above, if that matters.

I think it's also a political thing. The women act as a shield against the anti-chud attack vectors.

What did he actually do apart from sperg out a bit while drunk? He didn't assault anyone as far as I'm aware, or even cause any damage. Yeah it's kind of embarrassing to lose control like that, but he didn't even fall over or do anything else particularly undignified. It'll be forgotten in no time at all as long he gets his shit together.

Them still having women's divisions despite if they would have done a full women only-card, no one would watch, is not only political as you say, they are also hoping to get a Ronda Rousey again. The UFC is very big nowadays, but it takes having a standout woman for mainstream media to suddenly praise the sport. Back when Ronda was popular, you would see people online talking about her , when they usually wouldn't know anything about the UFC or MMA in general, it's like Khabib+Conor for even more normie people/women.
