Oh and Germany is cancelling its F126 Frigates 😜 some massive rearmament right?
This doesn't seem so bad to me. They cancelled a contract for ships that were struggling and immediately replaced it for orders based on an existing, proven design. Assuming they don't go full Constellation retard and start changing the spec so much it becomes basically an entirely new ship, this seems like a decent way to get ships they need in the water ASAP.

Reject the T-62, embrace the Chonma-20.

I think it's a neat looking tank. It's like a PS2 asset where they had to do a low poly version of a real tank because they didn't want to pay a license.

How much of the armor do we think is really just fiberglass or something?
Fiberglass? My brother in Christ, it's probably WOOD because that's usually what's used in mockups. On the other hand, it's cheaper for them to run whatever Chinese LLM they have access to for deepfakes. In any case, I love Nork tanks. I just do, okay.

Speaking of defense budgets, the UK just dropped their new on this week and it's.... Awful.

The Royal Navy is essentially being shuttered, the Army is getting fucked, and the RAF is just holding steady.

Aka Labor hates the British military and thinks that MUD DRONES > anything else.

A sick joke really.

Annoyed that they didn’t do the world a favor by defunding their nuke maintenance. I know their missiles don’t work, but I think everyone would prefer the caliphate not be nuclear armed.

I think they might have proper composites available because they have managed to thaw relations with their northern neighbors. Still, it becomes a question if it's a bunch of extra armor for what still is essentially a T-62 turret or if they have decided to go with a proper redesign now that they have some economic stability. Korea isn't really tank country anyways.

You joke but agricultural tractors like that have been historically used by lots of second-tier militaries because they still offer good cross country performance, have relatively simple maintenance requirements and training guys to use them is trivial when they already have familliarity from driving one at the industrial farm of the people. Especially if you already have domestic production of said tractors like seen with Finland and Sweden, it's a no-brainer when the alternatives are using horses or having to source something that's beyond your budget.

As for my thoughts; if you buy them as a first-rate military, bother to get some front hydraulics so it can function as an off-road forklift. Makes loading and unloading stuff in the sticks much easier. Otherwise, use them to tow artillery guns and other such stuff into places where regular trucks can't go.
