Notice the "their" bowling league. It makes slightly more sense for an "all-ages" bowling league to be operating late at night vs kids night. a 14 year old hanging out in a smoke filled bowling alley with his dad is pretty much the best explanation.
Also why are people so sure he's still in the area, once he got in the boat he could be anywhere.
But that also brings up the question of could someone on this continent recognize him if he was right in front of them right now? a simple beard shave would take that out, plus this week is arguably the easiest one for being allowed to dress up while entering stores.
@CoolFool You exclusively think of bowling alleys as Childrens locations? Do you think those built in ashtrays are for the kids? Is that where you and your friends used to hang out at 8pm at night after a long day of learning cursive.
