The saddest thing
I saw at my Infinity War screening was someone just gently placing a full bucket of popcorn into the trash. I was helpless to stop this.
I couldn't save it from its fate because I have
braces anyhow
. I still felt righteous anger and a deep sadness.
Seriously, fuck that guy.

So listening to the Super Best Friends spoilercast of the movie, and they pointed out that
Starlord losing it and just attacking Thanos is totally in-character for him. In fact, him doing that was the best part of GOTG2.

It just turned out badly this time.
So I posted this without realizing that they have actually posted that part of the podcast on YouTube.

Given how the film is loosely based on "The Infinity Gauntlet" from the comics, the remaining heroes are going to have to remove the gauntlet from Thanos to reset the universe. However, Warlock was the one who did it in the comics, but he's unavailable at the moment. I wonder if Marvel Studios is going to have Captain Marvel so it so they could say Carol Danvers saved the universe.

I'd rather the deed not be done by someone who'll have at the most four hours total screentime by End Game's third act. My preferred candidates are; Spidey - Newb hero in way over his head saves the entire fucking universe, has a big head in his next solo movie.
Star-Lord - makes amends for his fuck up in the last movie.
And Iron Man 'n' Cap - having buried the Civil War hatchet and cooperating one last time before the l8r dies.

My theory what may happen in Avengers 4:

Nebula and Tony will escape Titan on a spaceship of hers and there will be some meet up of Tony and Steve where the two finally stop any fighting they had, cause they both now lost someone they cared for (Tony = Soiderman, Steve = Bucky).

Some semi PTSD moments of the heroes on earth realizing the magnitude of their failure in battle (most likely some news reports on people disappearing too)

Scenes of Thanos will mostly feature him contemplating what to do now that the universe is "in balance" as he believes. Potential scenes of Thanos losing his mind as he realizes the magnitude of what he did.

Thanos increasingly unstable mind will give the Avengers an advantage to bring some of the heroes back in the final battle.

thanos will die at the hands of Nebula, wrapping up her "arc" of wanting to take revenge on her dad. Surprisingly for her, Thanos will accept his death and even state that he is proud of her for achieving her goal finally.

the Infinity Stones get destroyed at the end of the movie or at least things are reseted in such a way that their power is severely limited, making them useless for anyone who wants to use them like thanos.

On that note, an idea for the future: Timestone actually becomes a plot point in a later movie, featuring Kang the Conqueror as time traveler who uses it to fuel his time machines

In the comics, it was Drax who killed Thanos. I'm leaning towards some variant of that happening since that's a big motivator for his character.

everyone's favorite long faced troon, riley dennis, went on long ass twitter rant about the movie. spoiler alert: he hated it.

as expected, they took a lot of things out of context, inserted random sjw spiels, and it seems like they didn't watch any marvel movie prior.

all the dudes who got evaporated are the ones who lived. the ones who didn't died. there's yr twist

I think the ones evaporated who are not going to die are probably Antman, Hawkeye, Black Widow, the Black Panther characters, Rocket Raccoon, and maybe Thor.

It was alright. I say that about everything I enjoy, though. And I haven't watched anything "mainstream" Marvel since the first Avengers movie.
