Agreed. It's why the American comic book industry will always be worse than the Japanese. They aren't allowed to experiment as much and figure out new tropes. At least, if they care about the story being told. If they don't, it's SJW comics where no one really cares about what they're making.

I think it actually looks neat, but we'll see how good the writing quality is when it comes out. Loki has been a considerable improvement for now.
Or there's zombies. The T'Challa as Ego's son instead of Peter is kind dumb because it's pretty much the same thing, except I bet there won't be a T'Challa and Gamora romance.
There can be good alternate universes and they come if the writer actually thinks of a logical conclusion to a change in a small event, basically a butterfly effect. While a bad AU just jumps to the result of "Our Universe but everyone is X" without sticking to the characters and their backstory or mentality. To the point those characters have nothing to do with the originals.

The animation looks awful. It's like that weird era when people were just figuring out cell-shading on 3D animation.
That's been the problem with the MCU for the past 5+ years. None of it's bad, it's all decent enough, but they released so many that it all blends together into a bland mush.
I agree. Taskmaster is awful in the movie. They did him so fuckin dirty.
Taskmaster was handled much better in Insomiac Games' Spider-Man on PS4 and he was part of the side content.
Always takes me by surprise when that guy jumps you. Speaking of, Insomniac does a lot of great stuff character-wise. Doc Ock is basically perfect and Yuri as Peter is fantastic.
That was dumb, but it's not the worst "origin" that's been in a Disney movie this year.
