The fact that Far From Cope just hit a billion after so many people were "done after Endgame!" doesn't hurt that theory.

Don't worry though, that was just because people wanted to see how the "last part of the phase" ended. The next one will flop!

... unless of course people just want to see how they attempt to start a new phase starts, and the one after that will bomb!

...unless...

It probably won't actually fade for at least another phase, contrary to what people have been saying about leaving. I tend to jump off bandwagons early, and I don't take anything that people say at face value since most of them don't have an ounce of conviction to stand by their words (i,e: skipping out on future films). So even though all kinds of excuses have been made to explain the successes of certain films that were expected to fail, I predict their sequels to all succeed anyway.

Disney has the Call of Duty/FIFA franchises of movies, and are saturating the market in unnecessary sequels endlessly to ride the popularity wave while it's still there. Meanwhile, budgets bloat without any meaningful improvements, and the larger companies are less willing to take risks because of the financial investment they have made, and try to emulate Disney's success by doing the same thing.

So I'm happy with doing the same thing I did for CoD: ignoring it, laughing mercilessly at the paypigs who continue bending over for it, and wondering which new fad will stick to knock it off its perch.

First Blade was thrown under the bus so Black Panther could be the "first black Marvel superhero movie". Now he's been pulled out from under the bus to be the "first Muslim Marvel superhero movie".

He's going for the militant Islam branch of Muslim, so expect plenty of decapitations and improvised explosives.

Wonder if he'll stay true to form and condemn the Jews...
Not the violence aspect(I know you're jesting), but the vampires, in blade comics, still have their roots in gothic horror/christian folklore. So, crucifixes, holy water are still relevant. I mean they could change the nature of the vampires, I guess.

Just seems like an odd character to place that on(you have better options)....

Also,(not that it matters)isn't blade an englishman who was born in the turn of the century?

You know I had heard the Islamic Blade shit and just realized I hadn't actually seen any real source for it so I went looking. Turns out, that one tweet posted IS the source. That Twitter, if you click to it, has 86 followers and April O'Neil bondage porn for it's avatar. There doesn't seem to be any source besides this, and all subsequent reporting is citing this tweet.

This is all likely a ruse cruise.

My guess is that since the actor is muslim: social media exceptionalists are making associative claims.

Well. I think when the bubble bursts for the MCU, its going to be gradual decline. I don't think MCU will ever disappear persay.

I just think the 12 projects per phase, will dwindle down to like 3....
It's going to be like Bayformers.

Eventually the domestic market will stop caring but the movies will keep happening because China.

Hell you could say this has already started since a lot of these movies struggle to make twice their budget back domestically.

Black Panther looks to be the only recent non Avengers MCU film that breaks that trend.

Because it isn't.

Seems to be the case, though. Not just because based people avoid the shit, but because "woke" shit turns into a shit-flinging contest between two sides, and normal everyday people don't want to be caught up in something- especially when their opinion of it means they're earning enemies on one side or the other.

Theory: Disney knows the Superhero craze is going down faster than a liberal's wife on any man other than her husband.

When they know they're going to start losing money, they start to smokescreen it with "woke". If the movie is being criticized, it's because those critics are [insert bigot type here]. And anyone who is a [insert bigot type here] is a person you shouldn't listen to, because if you do it means you're a [insert bigot type here]. And if the movie does poorly at the box office, it's never because it was bad- it was because only [insert bigot type here] trolls formed a harassment campaign. There were death threats (that we won't show you) and everything! This is Trump's America! Punch Nazis! No border no walls, shave the tranny's balls! Supporting this movie is ACTIVISM!

However, for the life of me- I can't figure out why Disney took a look at the "creative" decisions that have practically destroyed Marvel to the point where the sales during the Comics crash look impressive by comparison.

I'm sure they'll keep making these movies. Disney's got a habit of running shit into the ground by making the sequels that no one knew they didn't want, and damned sure didn't ask for.

"Hi I'm Mockingbird and you're watching Avengers 9 on the Disney Channel!"

Lol. Sorry. Jesus. Holy shit.
I kind of doubt it. My pet theory on why Ms. Marvel hasn't appeared on the slate for Phase 4 despite the wokebaiting is that they're really afraid the religion of peace is gonna take it the wrong way.

Those movies still make billions of dollars, no matter how many spergy manchildren cry about it on YouTube.

You can't say authoritatively say that gO wOkE gO bRoKe is a thing if those properties don't actually go down in flames to the point of non-recovery.

This is why said spergy manchildren had to resort to weird theories about how Disney is buying Captain Marvel tickets to make the movie look successful or some shit, because god forbid a movie you don't like is succeeding on its own. :story:

Even if the next Star Wars somehow fails, you know that it will still be a viable film series to reboot, because if fucking Ghostbusters can get a 2nd reboot within 5 years, then why can't Disney do the same with Star Wars or Marvel?

Yeah, it's called making money on a brand. And they make less money once they 'get woke'.

Also, that's not looking like a Ghostbusters reboot. It's looking more like an apology. I'm sure eventually all the "woke" brands will end up doing the same over the next few years.

Muslim Blade?

Okay, yeah, I'm out. Endgame gave me more than enough closure. The MCU is done.

I'm only looking forward to Black Widow and Spider-Man 3 at this rate.

Doctor Strange & The Multiverse Of Madness sounds good too, because it's going to be a legit horror film.

But I agree, I'm out too. I'm interested in Black Widow and Spider-Man but that's it. I swear to God I will start a fucking riot if we wind up getting a woke Silver Surfer.

Oh, wait until they finally decide that the Punisher needs to go woke.

Shooting up GOP rallies and then going home to his friend "Microagression", who is wearing Frank's wife's bridal dress and the two have gay sex. Then they go on about how Barracuda isn't evil, he was just the product of a racist society.

Making less money != going broke lmao. By that logic, if the new star wars makes $1 less than Last Jedi, then it becomes "broke", that's absolutely retarded logic.

It literally is a reboot what are you talking about? :story:

Making less money != going broke lmao. By that logic, if the new star wars makes $1 less than Last Jedi, then it becomes "broke", that's absolutely exceptional logic.

By your logic, "Get Woke Go Broke" isn't real unless it renders a company financially destitute, with a zero or negative balance.

Your mother was in her early 60's when she got pregnant with you, wasn't she?

It literally is a reboot what are you talking about? :story:

If you have to reboot something again in less than 5 years, that usually means the first one was a fucking failure. Otherwise what you'd get would be called a sequel.
