I think Karen Gillian is the next to leave, but I'd love for her to stick around and make Nebula the legit villain she is from the comics.

Also this but for different reasons. Prime Ms Marvel - after the 70's airhead era but before the bulldyke Captain transition- was often a really brutal alpha personality. I hate how they've pivoted this specific franchise to being a more kid-centric one ala Ant-Man because I think keeping her a fuckhead alpha anti-hero is a much better use of her. I think it'd also be a better use of Larson's legitimate acting ability,

I remmber wasn't the whole point of Ms. Marvel was that even through she was dressed up sexy. She would literally beat the crap put of you and would tell you to shut up if you looked at her funny?

I mean MCU Carol I could totally belive completely snapping and haven to be taken out somehow (not even really killed but more of loosing her powers) I think it would add alot to Larson's performance. I mean form what I have heard she's not s bad actress. Her character is just written poorly.

Yes. Ironically enough, despite being cited as one of the worst parts of the movie, the scene were she just jacks the dudes bike is actually more in line with her best incarnation than anything else.

In fairness, with how many times Captain Marvel's been rebooted in the comics - and she gets that treatment a LOT - I legitimately wouldn't be surprised if they just went "Fuck It, we don't wanna go look for one of those". It's not like she wasn't more or less shoehorned into the franchise at the 11th hour as is...

The most graphic thing is probably the death of like Black Bolt but outside of it, the deaths were standard for a pg-13 movie
 
Well I saw Dr Strange and I had a great time. Probably one of my favorite movies in the MCU and very much hope they keep going along this route. Mainly because the villain was actually FUCKING INTIMIDATING (and hot) AS SHIT. I mean dam they did not pull their punches when it came to to how dark some of the themes were. Wanda went all the way and I dug it.

I can definitely forgive a lot with a good villain and a good hero and this movie delivered. I really liked the moments Strange had to come face to face with his flaws, the fights felt great because the hero's are actually challenged. and the token Gay made me laugh my ass off.


Oh man America CHAVEZ. that name just makes me laugh and laugh with how stupid it sounds. Never ever heard of this chick before now, and I just loved LOVED how bad her backstory, powers and name are. Just so bad its good trash. Not saying the actress is shit, she did good, but mannnnnn this is the best worst diversity character I have ever seen.




I am so so very glad her comics are just as retarded and hilarious.

Strange MoM was really good but it bugs the hell out of me that the writers continue to fuck with Wanda so much so that this time, she decides to kill herself (probably). Olsen's performance was STELLAR in this movie, don't get me wrong. It's just in terms of the character, I hate the direction they've been taking her.

It's like Feige has some kind of boner for torturing her and putting her in all of these really fucky situations, and not letting her move past any of them or grow from any of them. It's like they want us to strongly resent her. It bugs the hell out of me.

Honestly Wandavision was the only time I even remotely liked Wanda, at least until I realized that she was the one behind the whole hex thing.

Apparently canon mordo got his fucking head cut off in an earlier version of the script by Wanda, but they cut that out because they want to keep using him I guess.
 
The funniest bit about America Chavez is that she isn't supposed to have an ethnicity because alien, but then is supposed to be Latina and that's where the fun starts. She first gets stated as being Puerto Rican, the super politisperged run made it seem like she was supposed to be a super Latina to the point she had traits from all of Latin America but mostly Colombia and now you have her MCU version being played by an actress of Mexican descent who is just brown enough for people the see she is Mexican but light enough because colorism is real. Same deal with the actress for Ms. Marvel who looks white as fuck in comparison with comic Kamala.

Any predictions on what Reed we are getting with Krasinski? I'm betting on the oblivious genius that causes the end of the world every week Reed with just a tad of his mad side so we get The Maker (assuming they don't force Miles Teller into the role) who not only gets bossed around by his wife (the real genius) but also his daughter (the really real genius). I can almost hear the Sheldon Cooper level dialogue they will give him, it would be like the worst version of the Office again.

What's also insane for me. Is that not only was it a good villain. But a character that we had followed before in the past who was doing the brutality not many writers are willing to do that in my opinion.

You definitely get the feel of why Agatha had a "oh shit"face during her defeat in Wandavision after Wanda unlocks the Scarlett Witche's powers. She also got off easy mostly because Wanda hadn't gone full crazy at the time.

Though Agatha is at fault for that she introduced her to the Darkholme. I just still don't see Wanda as a true villian, not sure if its because of how the differnt series and comics always showed that she has an inclincation for insanity.

Neither of The Two Moms is black, either. They just thought she "looked black", and sperged when the actress was not.

"Latin" isn't a race. It's a broad cultural background related to Spain/Portugal. The degree of mixture greatly varies from mostly Amerindian descent to almost completely Mediterranean. Just look at the mostly European Northern Mexicans or Argentina compared to the heavily Amerindian Central Americans or Peruvians. Once again, these people have no idea what in the fuck they're talking about.

lmfao based. That's gonna be her new character arc; she's Marvel's Zap Brannigan and just steals credit for every mission. CM 2's B plot is going to be Rambeau finding out she stole valor from saving Westview, and by the time the next proper Avenger's movie comes out, Tony Stark was already dead and she wrestled the glove off of Thanos single handedly.

But that's what I mean Carol sucks as a hero. But as a villain she would actually be good character honestly. That's why I want to see her as a villain
 
When the MCU started one of the biggest draws was the amount of possibilities that it had. But those possibilities dwindled down the years as the studio understood what specific elements sold and what was too much for the audience/budget. Which is why I can't really get any hype from the new films, I know that whatever cool thing I can imagine, only the most boring and normie thing imaginable will be the thing that will happen in the end.
