Since Uncle Bens death didn’t seem to have the impact of character development for Tom’s Spider-Man than with the others, I think it’s fair to say that this trilogy is the actual origin story for Tom.
I like it. Let’s hope it stays like this.
Tom had everything, a new father figure, technology, recognition, the avengers. Things that would either nurture a huge ego or create an alternate timeline where Spider-Man becomes somewhat of a selfish villian. And now, where he goes back to being the actual friendly neighborhood spider-man, he had his priorities and ambitions shaken, everything has been taken away from him by doing the right choice. A selfish version would try to immediately reconnect with Happy, Ned and MJ. But much like at the end of Raimis first Spider-Man movie, the protagonist sees the danger that will always loom over those who are close to him.
