Don't know what a screencap will be worth, 8 years of conversation, but there's also nothing else I could share without giving myself away outright. I know CSR fairly personally and know for a fact that the extent of his relationship with Grummz was just being commissioned a few times. Purely independent, not an employee, and he takes contracts to do artwork. He doesn't care about any Twitter nonsense and is rarely the type to make a public post in order to speak up or clear things except for the times there was an impersonation scammer and when Shexyo was tracing / impersonating him (even then he had to be pushed to do it, I'm told).

Grummz 100% was just grasping for straws saying that he was "making a game with CSR," reaching for a name that had positive standing in people. Any fans can rest assured he's just doing his own thing.

I kind of figured that CSR is not even an employee of his or has any kind of contract with Grummz which makes his planning even more baffling. I'm not knowledgeable enough but there is no way any gamedev worth their salt would organize their project in a slapdash way.

yeah its pretty obvious that csr was just doing commission work no matter how much grummz tries to claim him as an em8er dev, such as listing him as being on the Dev Team in the discord. if you really do talk to CSR you should probably advise him to leave that discord so he stops showing on the dev team
