Man lights himself on fire outside courthouse during Trump trial: reports​

A man appeared to light himself on fire outside a New York City courthouse on Friday where a jury was being chosen for the criminal trial of former President Donald Trump, according to multiple reports.

The incident happened as reporters were gathered outside of the courthouse to cover Trump’s trial, CNN reported. On-air, reporter Laura Coates said it appeared that a man had set himself on fire.

Emergency crews rushed the man away on a stretcher, The Associated Press reported. Their condition was not immediately known.

The incident happened a short while after a full panel of 12 jurors and six alternates was chosen to deliberate in Trump’s hush money trial. Opening statements in the case are expected to start on Monday.

Holy fuck he was still moving after that, but it looks like he couldn't bend his arms or fingers. The videos are disturbing enough and it must have been awful for the paramedics and cops who were right there.

Pro tip: before setting yourself on fire, try just burning your leg for a little while first. You'll be surprised how much it hurts, how long the fire lasts, and how little you'll care about your pet issue while you burn.

This guy clearly thought that he'd just conflagrate into a pile of ash within seconds and that would be that. By the time he realized he'd fucked up, it was too late.

Max had at least one sister named Pasqualina Azzarello who was some kind of street artist in New York. The lady in the pictures look vaguely like her but I might just be filling in the blanks on a sobbing woman who has half of her face obscured.

It would explain why she just kinda flops on a chair and stares at the carnage. The lady in the footage doesn't even try to film what's going on despite having her phone clearly in her hand. I have no proof of this and Pasqualina doesn't seem to have a social media presence beyond her website and Linkedin.
