I am going to start getting scent free fingernail polish. a few years ago I had (what turned out to be) whooping cough and I lost my sense of smell completely for 6 months. when it came back certain odors smelled REALLY REALLY bad to me, like I couldn't get them out of my nose. nail polish was one of them.

Initially I just gave up on nail polish (I only wear it on my toes) and forgot about it. when I first started looking for scent free it was only water based peel off that I could find which sounded dumb for toes. Now there's a bunch of 7 free, 10 free that claim to be scent free and long(er) lasting.

does anyone have experience with truly scent free nail polish? I will suck it up when it comes to the remover, unfortunately that also makes me pukey now too but I know that isn't a scent free possibility.
So, it's not completely scent-free, but with the exception of the Holo Taco stuff my collection is all 7-free and I do recommend it. My top two brand recommendations would be Pacifica and Ella + Mila (recently rebranded to "17-free" but the formula is the same).
Sample shit:
gold.PNG

Gold Lamé Crystal Gloss Top Coat
Nice full sparkle coverage but not so much that you can't see the color under it. Leads to neat effects where you can pair it with something like purple and the result is that it looks green under certain light.
red.PNG

Red Red Wine
Just posting this one as a sample color, but I like all the ones I've tried. They last a long time and when they chip it looks kind of cool, like it's intentional. Also Red Wine in particular looks good on dudes, so that's fun.
rain.PNG

Misty Rain
This is just a clear polish with little circles in it. It looks great over light and dark colors and makes me happy.
base.PNG

7-Free Base Coat
Just a good, solid, reliable base coat. Me likey.
matte.PNG

7-Free Matte Top Coat
This one is cool because you can see the matte effect instantly and it plays well with the other natural polishes.

Polish Remover for Natural Polishes
This shit actually works really well, doesn't smell bad (they have an unscented version but its sold out), and you can also use it for removing labels from jars you want to reuse.

I think Tenover's rose-scented acetone-free polish remover is a bit cheaper, depending on where you get it. It also has nourishing oils in it for your nails!

I bought some Garnet earrings from this site. They also have a feedback deal where you can get another free pair if you send them feedback after your first order. I should be getting a pyrite set along with it.

I got the earrings today and they're super gorgeous. Due to a misunderstanding from customer service, I ended up picking a pair of red jasper instead of pyrite.

I'm quite the nail polish nut, I have a slightly unreasonable collection and like to keep them long. Sadly they tend to break quite easily now so I change nail shapes every other week. One thing I will say is that brands like Essie aren't really worth it. The quality is seldom worth the price and I've been doing just fine with cheaper brands.

I know it’s already started, but anyone grabbing something from the Ulta 21 days sale? Nothing really grabbed my attention except 50% off KKW palettes, but they only have four of them online, none of which I really liked, so it ended up being a pass for me. The 6 pan Mrs. West is pretty but the reviews are so-so.

I'm very tempted to get that Lime Crime Wet Cherry Gloss. I do want to take advantage of the Tarte Shape tape deal on the 5th.

Anyone good at identifying fake jewellery? I want to buy a deadstock Pandora birthstone ring but I know it was/is a popular item and popular stuff like that is notorious for being ripped off and replicated. It looks pretty legitimate compared to the same model ring I own but I’m shit at spotting fakes especially since I’m not too invested in jewellery and I’m a bit suspicious since this is coming from eBay (seller has good reviews though). I’ve tried Googling but there aren’t any side by side comparison photos. These are the seller's images:

Has anyone tried the Juvia's Place I Am Magic foundation? I'm considering getting it once my current foundation runs low.

I haven't tried it personally, but I have heard from people who have, and they say it is very matte and high coverage, and to only use it if you are super oily.

so, I got a bottle of Zoya brand polish. it definitely still has an odor, a bit stronger than I had hoped but I didn't gag while applying it and I think I will be able to tolerate the scent when it's dried and I have showered (which isn't the case with regular polish). I will try a few other brands also but my toes are happy to be polished

My bundle from Sydney Grace came a few days ago and I have been loving it! The pigment is fantastic and it stays pretty long. I will probably buy more bundles when they restock their stuff. Now I am just excited from my cream eyeshadow from Kim Chi.

What's this Winky Lux balm like? Anybody know?
It's pretty.

I personally love Winky Lux, because you really can't go wrong with their products. The lip balms are pretty moisturizing. I bought the green tea one, and I used to put it on before bed. My lips would be super soft when I woke up. I also wear my PH balm all the time if I want to have some color on my lips without actually committing to lipstick.

really cool find! I always forget uniqlo exists. this made me go check out what they have and found some really cool flannels and graphic tees. also might give their underwear a try because i've heard good things

Uniqlo is one of my go-to favourites. So sad I missed the IDLF tweed coats this time, they're completely sold out in my region. The collections can be a bit hit and miss but there's usually at least one solid staple in each. Love their cashmere, too.
