I got in the makeup I ordered, and I'm really happy with almost everything! Pretty much the products I was on the fence about ended up being awesome, while other things I was more confident in didn't work.
I wish the reddit beauty community thread had taken off. People on reddit and instagram are trying to cancel Glossier for not being woke enough. Asfaik, all the Glossier retail locations are shutting down anyway. You can read about it here: https://www.reddit.com/r/SkincareAd..._glossier_workers_are_organizing_against_the/
SkincareAddiction seems less interested in taking the bait, but r/Glossier is full of people "outraged" that working retail sucks
Glossier:
Boy Brow - Impulse buy but ended up being the thing I didn't know I needed. It adds just the right amount of tackiness to make the ABH brow powder I use go on more naturally. I'm glad I tried this.
Futuredew - was on the fence, but I think I've decided it's a winner. It makes my skin look incredibly smooth and youthful, with an airbrushed look. However, I don't like it with the Glossier skin tint, and prefer it with my favorite BB cream (Missha cho bo yang)
Skin Tint - I thought I had good enough skin to use this, but apparently not. A lot of people use it with the concealer, but I don't want to use this AND concealer when bb cream does everything and is light coverage. It does feel lighter than bb cream, but not enough to be worth it
Bubble wrap - this is an eye/lip plumping cream, and I'm on the fence. Part of me feelings like I fell for a marketing gimmick, but part of me thinks it's nice and does make my under eye look better.
Balm dotcom - it's nice, didn't solve my dry lips issue though. But literally nothing else seems to either so it's not really a knock on the product
Colourpop:
Blush stix (Melon) - I love cream blush, and this is no exception. Blends really well. I wish they had more colors, I'd like a cool toned red cream blush.
Lite stix (Urth) - REALLY NICE. A lot of people complained that the Lite Stix have too much glitter. I get that, but I don't feel it's apparent unless you look really closely and it's more of a shimmer... it goes on really smoothly and gives a really slick look
