I finally spent my Ulta gift card today on a DevaCurl conditioner and a Dose of Colors liquid lipstick.

Dose of Colors is probably my new favorite liquid lipstick brand next to Makeup Monsters.

with all the face creams i've been using lately i can probably pass for being 16 again

i don't get why they've been getting such a bad rap lately like "buhh it causes faster photoaging" bitch aint u ever heard of sunscreen

the feeling that I've added years back on to my lifespan is worth having to put on sunscreen at night tbh

My skin is good enough to where I don't really need to use a whole lot of foundation. But it does get flaky if I don't wash it everyday.
I am very fair skinned, so I wear a ton of zinc oxide sunscreen with CC creams, I know the feeling. Sometimes, the skin on my face can just shed like a snake.

This is just a general question, it's about perfume. Does anyone know why in the hell perfumers put so much damn musk in perfumes? It's like they're making products for their grandmothers and aunts instead of women who might want to be portrayed as attractive and confident. Musk doesn't project confidence, it projects the domineering/smothering nature of a woman in her 40-80s.

I kinda like the musky scents, depending on what I'm wearing that particular day. Usually, I like candy or fruity scents.
I think it's mostly because the general demographic age for perfume buyers is older women. My mom wears this perfume called Cool Water. I like it because she's worn it since I was a kid and it smells comforting. But I wouldn't wear it because I don't really like "fresh" perfumes.

Davidoff Cool Water and Thierry Mugler's Angel perfume always remind me of my mum. :feels: I prefer sweeter scents like YSL's Black Opium.

I'd like recommendations on perfume that smells like chocolate or vanilla, myself. Musk and wood are nice but I feel that I have to get super glammed up to wear that, so I hardly wear the Boss Lady scent I received.

Thanks for the recommendation, I'm fine with either roll-on or spray types.

I'll look into perfumes with cocoa essential oils then.

I'm usually not into too much girly stuff but I have clothes I like (I'm sure everyone does) and a serious weakness for anything with sequins, glitter, holographic things... and Lisa Frank.

Speaking of which...

Hot Topic has a Lisa Frank line now and I love it.

Anyone interested in anything from UD's new collab?

https://www.urbandecay.com/kristen-leanne-makeup-collection

I'm not feeling this one too much. Don't really do purple lipstick and the eyeshadows seem like stuff I already have, but anyone else excited?
I'm limited editioned out, tbh. I feel like cosmetic companies have gotten too out of control with limited editions and collabs and palettes just to keep the influencer-driven market churning.

I don't usually care for limited edition lines unless there's something cute that I can't get anywhere else or that I can't live without. I've recently really loved Too Faced for whatever reason.

I love Urban Decay but I can't justify buying colourful/bright palettes or singles because my job is customer facing, sadly. 90% of instagram makeup is just fun for me to look at.

Can anyone identify this lip stain? It's a Korean brand. The only english is a link to a Korean website, which is www.apieu.co.uk. I think the shade is CE01. It's transfer proof and amazing but it tastes like bitter ass lipstick, for which I can forgive it. Enclosed is an image of the tube.

Thanks so much! I love this tint and I'd like it in other colours (you were right, E was a typo on my phone). Their site didn't have enough english for me to navigate it and I couldn't remember which english Korean beauty store I'd bought it from. Highly recommend it, by the way. Even if it does taste like really bitter lipstick for a couple of minutes.

What do you girls think of corpse paint?
I know this might seem out of place at first but it
isn't that surprising that a lot of girls are into it since it is still make up and you can be very creative with it (plus both girls and guys love black metal equally)

I personally think women look wonderful and give it a very interesting spin. I like the combination of softer features with that harsh, aggressive look.
