Thanks, it’s always good to have new things to fritter my money away on. I got glitter gel polish that colour changes with heat (gimmicky I know, haha) which I was obsessed with for a while but I’m pretty much sick of all of the colours now and want to try something new.
I love thermals and magnetic polishes.
Some companies have triple thermals. I'm like shut up and take my money!

Aw I love its Bowie eyes! My kid loves to line those beanie boos up in a queue and spend hours drawing their portraits one-by-one, it’s pretty fucking adorable. I don’t remember toys and stuff being as cute when I was little, there’s so much cool stuff now.

Glad you like him. Only $9.99 at the airport.

I got this really beautiful and quite expensive dress from AllSaints, but both of the dates I've worn it on have been absolute disasters, so i'm forced to assume that the garment is cursed.

It's so lovely, though. I love the cut, I love the sleeves, I love the gathering and the bodice and the fabric and I especially love the colour. This photo doesn't do it justice (especially not in those hideous space cowboy boots), but in person it's an amazingly vibrant mossy green that goes really well with gold jewellery. It's very 'Lady of the Green Kirtle' and I want to wear it all the time forever, but not if it continues to inflict bad luck on me.

Wear it while you're doing something you love, maybe pick some flowers, or take a relative out for lunch, that sort of thing.
That could erase the bad Juju around it. I've done similar things with clothing that I had problems with.

I want a pair of these jeans: https://slojeans.co/
Their sizing system is interesting, though. You take your measurements and then they assign you a letter. Combine the letter with your inseam category and that's your size. It's kind of like the bra-system, but for pants.
Are there any other companies that work like this?

I feel like it lacks a belt

idk but I always need something to visually separate "top part" and "bottom part" of a dress and the separation isn't clear enough with this one.
Love the color though!

That is genius! Why don't all women's pants sizes work like this? It'd fix so many problems!

I'll take it off your hands; I love AllSaints stuff. Very nice, I hope you can break the curse too.

Anyone else wear vintage clothes in their everyday wardrobe? I range from the 40s-early 90s, mainly fixated on the 50s. I try to keep as authentic as possible, new clothes labeled as "retro" or "vintage styled" never look right. I prefer the better quality of vintage clothes too. You can tell when sifting through thrift stores just by feel of fabric.
Is there a thread for vintage things (furniture, knickknacks, etc) in general? Search is failing me.

I'm not sure if this is the best place to mention this, but it seemed to fit. I'm part of a bunch of skincare, haircare, perfume, etc. trial groups where I receive free product in exchange for answering surveys sent by the parent company- things like ''did you feel like your skin was softer after using this The Ordinary cream for two weeks?'' ya know the deal. Anyway, I matched with a hair glaze product from an unnamed brand and chose the colorless option, and I'm really confused as to what the product is meant to do. I've followed all the instructions and patch tested for a while to make sure my skin and hair wouldn't react poorly, and they didn't, so I did my first full treatment yesterday. I notice a bit more dryness in my hair, but it's also much shinier and more manageable? I have straight, ass-length, thick hair so manageable is not something I ever say about my hair, but the dryness worries me even though it's very slight. I looked up some articles about it but it doesn't seem to match up with my experience because I see a lot of comments about decreased dryness. Does anyone use these types of product and can guide me as to what to expect from them? I can't tell if this is working for me or not, lmao.

We got our daughter a small keychain TY plushie named ''Cassidy'' as a stocking stuffer a year ago and the one you posted is quite similar, she loved her so much that we ended up getting her the larger Cassidy as well and she now has a ''small Cassidy'' and a ''big Cassidy''. She's getting the purse for Easter, I can't wait.

How did you get into doing that (if you don't mind telling)? That sounds like something I would adore!

Glosses close the cuticle usually so they smooth the hair and make it shiny. Normally they should not be drying out your hair though.

I'll DM you in a bit! It's pretty great as long as you're able to make the deadlines, I've gotten anything from Charlotte Tilbury products and a full line of Dr. Jart+ products to a Foreo device and double wagon stroller.

I'm going to try it again weekly (as my testing flyer tells me to) for 2 more weeks before I make a decision- it doesn't seem to dry me out until the very ends of my hair now that it's all the way dried from my bath, so I wonder if I might just need a good haircut and the product is just emphasizing that. The glossiness in the like, first 7/8ths of my hair is insane so I really don't want to give up on the product yet!

Talking about cursed green dresses

I bought this dress for 18.something dollars from pretty little things in a sale, and it is one of the best dresses I have ever bought (I usually make terrible decisions in regards of fashion). All the weddings I intended to wear this dress to got delayed, cancelled or were held in the pandemic without any guests. I gained weight, lost weight, gained it again and lost it again all while it sits in my closet without wear :c
